Chamberlain Universal Garage Door Opener Remote, Black

Easy to set up with Chamberlain Garage Door Opener. Needed a second remote. Perfect.

Works great. Arrived quick. We have a basic overhead garage door opener and my husband set this thing up with it in like five minutes.

Although it took three attempts for my Overhead Door opener and new opener to sync, it has performed flawlessly since then. Overhead Door could not provide an opener that would work on my 1999 model opener so I was ecstatic with this offer and subsequent performance! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This remote was great for all our needed applications. We used this remote to be able to access my in laws house. They had a much older garage door opener than we did and was having a hard time finding anything that would function to get it operational.

This remote works well easy to program for both my chamberlain and genie garage door openers. So far battery has lasted great compared to my genie remote which just chews up batteries even when not being used. Overall well designed easy to use. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

We have 2 garage doors at our home and it is always a pain carrying around 2 different remotes or having just 1 and using the keypad for the other. This universal garage door remote was extremely easy to program. I was able to do so in less than a minute for both of our doors. Now I don't have to worry about carrying 2 different remotes since our garage door openers are 2 different brands. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

works well

This remote outperforms my other remotes in terms in range. It was a little challenging to get it to link up with my non-Chamberlain garage door opener but after a few attempts it worked and I didn't have to call the help line. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This universal garage door opener remote is very good. Programming the remote to your door opener is easy and well documented in the instruction manual that comes with the product. You can program up to two different openers to the remote from different manufactures one on each button. Each button is easily distinguished by the markings on the button. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I originally received this and reviewed it about two years ago but that review apparently was deleted or never posted. The aesthetics of this are pleasing, the buttons are easy to find in the dark, the programming is easy. The problem is that it, like so many openers today, is underpowered. We have to be IN the driveway for it to work, and clear line of sight to the door. I've found that devices like this that are powered by coin cell batteries have this same problem. It's ok but it's definitely nothing to write home about.
