I purchased this snow blower about a month ago and have only used it a couple times so far. There was some assembly needed when I received it, but the instructions were simple and I had no problem. It started up good and ran good. I haven't had a chance to use in deeper snow.
This snowblower is awesome. I've used it twice so far after moving to the Arctic tundra which is Michigan. I have a secondary wrap-around driveway and some sidewalk area in addition to the main driveway so wanted something that could move a lot of snow fast. I also moved from Nashville, TN so want to be outside in the cold as little as possible. This snow blower flies and got all of the snow on the first pass, exceeding all my explanations. Shovels are overrated! #sweepstakes
Received my snowblower a month ago. This is a beast of a machine. Takes control of your snow problem, especially here in northern Wisconsin. Had one small problem with assembly. Had to re-tap one of the M8 holes that attach the lower handle. Just a minor problem. Really love this snowblower. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a machine that gets the job done.
This snowblower has been great through the last three snow storms. It is more powerful than my neighbors and starts with the first or second pull every time. I will recommend to family.
I have been nothing but impressed by the 27" Snow blower! It has plenty of power to carve through snow that is between 2-18" deep. It has an easy electric start and is easy to operate and manuevuer through snow. It is a huge upgrade from our previous snow blower.
Wanted to replace an older 4hp airens with more power. researched all brands and issues with them. champion seemed to be he most problem free. Unit came as ordered in a big box on a pallet. I watched the how-to video which made assembly easier. Install instructions were fairly clear and I put it together by myself without any issues. Came with oil to use unlike other companies. filled the oil, added gas and it fired right up with pull cord. after 10 min warmup i tested it on 10 inch 2-day old snow. worked great and a major upgrade to my old snowblower. only issue was trying to find the included spare sheer pins and clips. reading the manual to find out how to repair sheer pins, it showed their location on the back of the dashboard, ready for use. a big plus for Champion. Can't wait to try it out on my 3600 sq ft driveway and garage apron. This is definitely a machine for big jobs
Received this in late October. We haven't had snow, yet, so we will see how it performs. That said, the assembly instructions were very clear and it was not difficult at all. Some comments: 1) The Speed Control Connecting Lever is hidden in the corner of the box in some of the structural support packaging. At first, I had thought it was missing. 2) The discharge chute rotation is not as smooth as my previous, Ariens snowblower. With some practice, though, it's not that bad. 3) The fastest speed setting (forward) is quite fast! This snowblower replaces my old 200cc Ariens. The difference in power is apparent when starting it up for the first time.
Great motor and snow thrower. Do not like that you have to manually adjust angle of discharge shoot by loosening a bolt and retightening. Also you can not continue throwing snow trying to rotate direction of chute. Would prefer augers and throttle to have 1 handed operation
I placed an order via online and it was shipped out in about a week.
This is a rating on the difficulty assembling this product, not the product itself. Right at the beginning I discovered I can't attach the bar because the space is too small for my fingers. Obviously it's also too small for any handheld tools. So currently I have no idea how I'm going to put it together. I can't believe the manufacturers were this dumb.
