Champion Power Equipment 3000-lb. ATV/UTV Winch Kit

The first two (2) a 2,000 lb. and 2,500 Winches we purchased were from Harbor Freight we still have another from them a 2,000 Winch first 2,000 winch switch went bad it would roll in but not out.....had to free wheel it after a while.... the 2,500 we got it on a Friday tried it out it went out O.K in rolled in O.K but when you rolled out or in it did not want to stop when you let off of the switch it wanted to roll in or out an extra 3 inches or so. Two days later on a Sunday when we needed to use it....it would not work at all....So Wednesday we took it back. ( Plus all 3 including the one still in use on my 4x4 4 wheeler is very noisy almost like grinding like noise ) All 3 were priced at over $100.00 but was running on Sale for $49 and $59 when we bought them. Exchanged the 2 bad ones. Bought one from Wal-Mart.com the Champion Power 3,000 Pound Winch runs smoothly....Super Quiet.... was SUPRISED on how Quiet it was compared to the Harbor Freight ones ( Badlands brand ) I GUARANTEE when mine goes bad from Harbor Freight ( the one I have on my 4x4 4 Wheeler ) I will come back and buy one for my 4 wheeler. Pay the extra $30 to $40 for a Real good Super Quiet Winch the extra $$$ will be worth it.

Bought this for my 4 wheeler. It is a great unit, it was bolt on to a can am Outlander. The polarity can be changed in 3 minutes flat, and the motor winding wire diameter is a good large size. Compared to a Badlands from Harbor Freight the wires in the winding are twice the diameter so they won't burn out under heavy load. I have used it pretty hard a couple times and it does the job.

Bought this winch to replace a lessor brand that I had on my Kawasaki mule. It has not disappointed me as of yet

I purchased the 3000lb winch mainly for use on a UTV Vevor snowplow. Exceptional power lifting & lowering the unit to hand the deepest of Nebraska snow. What a great value as the pride is great with quality unmatched! Easy to mount, with only one small issue being the powering cables a bit short on the winch side, but I made it work. The control is easy to use. Thanks for a great product!

It does what I bought it to do. Works good with no problem.

Then, need it and not have it. Great little winch. I use it to pull my deer up, so they are easier to field dress. It's handy when I'm loading my motorcycles in my straight truck. I have a mount in the front of the box. I'm at that age, I can use all the help I can get. This winch, was just what I needed.

I used this model about 15 times. Never had a heavy load and it pulled those loads just fine until it didn't It suddenly would just click when retracting the cable. extending the cable with the motor or using the clutch worked fine. Reported it to Champion and they authorized a replacement without a fuss. The new unit is working great.

Mounting was easy. Installed in my 2020 Sportsman 570 with a third party mounting bracket. Construction seems sturdy, capacity and power is far more than what I plan on using this for. The controls are too clunky for their intended purpose of being handlebar mounted due to the integrated solenoid. Nevertheless just fine for plowing and recovery
