I was not sure what to expect from a sock priced under $3 but Champro is a well-known brand and the reviews were pretty solid. I bought four pair for my umpire assignments as I needed a longer sock to wear under my shin guards. Wore the socks last week and was pleasantly surprised at the weight and thickness. Previous pairs from another brand were too thin, almost like women's stockings, and tore easily. These Champro's are still "featherweight" but not cheaply thin like the other brand I bought. Perfect even for warmer days as they are breathable both within my umpire shoes and under my shin guards. I would definitely buy these again.
I ordered these socks in many different colors for my daughter and son. They both love these socks! Both said they are so soft and comfortable. They want all the colors!!!
I bought the smallest size for my 9y old son, and it fits well. He says they are "the best-fitting baseball socks" he has. He's happy, then I'm happy :)
I ordered a couple pair of socks in different colors to have on hand. My daughter isn't a huge fan - said they are too thin and see through. She wears them for practices. I think it's the white socks she said are see through. Great price though!
Very thin. I use them over a base pair of thick black socks. Gives me the red team color I need at a cheap price point. Nice snug fit.
These are a little bit on the thin side. Not sheer or anything like that, just not as thick and absorbent as others I've had. They stay up and have sufficient length to look good with knicker pants.
You get what you pay for. I purchased these in multiple colors for my daughter's various teams. One game in and they had a huge rip at the front of her ankle. My daughter is an aggressive base runner but didn't even slide the game the hole appeared. I was going to get her a new pair after her next game but she ran and now has a cut on her leg from sliding with the holey socks. Such a bummer because I enjoyed the other items that came in our order
My entire order was canceled with no explanation or attempt to resolve the issue.
The socks I received were thin and tight compared to other Champro socks I have purchased through other vendors. At this point my team has already worn them and they are not eligible for return. I will not be buying these socks again as a last minute purchase. I will just pay more a local store instead.
These are so lightweight that they snag and tear very easily. I ordered 4 pair. One arrived with a snag in it so that you could see bare leg, 2 others were ripped after first wear, and the other pair has yet to be worn because my son assumes he will get one use out of it and is saving it for a game. Would not recommend.
