After having such a great experience with my first ChangBERT cooktop purchased on another platform, using the original for a long time without any issues, picking up a second as an extra burner just made sense, this enhanced version is easy to use like my first one. The stainless-steel construction was one of the reasons I chose this brand. In person, it looks exactly as advertised, solid, easy to clean, and professional, and it’s held up great to daily use without dents. It also wipes down easily and still looks new after cooking. That sturdy build really matters when I’m doing pressure cooking with heavier cookware. Once I started using proper magnetic cookware, the performance really clicked, heats really fast, saving time. Lately I’ve been using big skillets for eggs in the morning and a wide pan for steaks at night. Temperature control and Timer have been very dependable and precise. Set it and walk away. No chasing the dial. No sudden spikes. The heat reaches across the pan evenly, so eggs cook through without dry edges and steaks come out juicy with a consistent sear. As an additional burner, this thing gets used constantly and absolutely worth buying again.

Good quality, good price. has many more features than the ‘cheaper’ burner being replaced after plastic melted on pan ! this version-ChangBERT enhanced has stainless top so shouldn’t have that issue ! very easy to clean, heats quickly. Best purchase I have made in quite some time. Has a large burner surface so I can use my bigger skillets for cooking bacon and it heats up quickly. You can control the wattage it uses or the temperature. Wattage if you want quicker heat and temperature if you need more a more precise cooking temperature. I also like the "keep warm" feature as well. And its easy to clean. The biggest thing to consider when purchasing this item if making sure you have compatible cookware intended for an induction cooktop.

Powerful, precise, and consistent, the ChangBERT cooktop is a tremendous value. You’d have to spend many times the price of this unit to get much improvement. Pros: • Works exactly as advertised • Well thought-out interface with tactile buttons, • Clear, bright display • Rubber feet to prevent sliding • Long 12 hour timer • Temp mode settings are not wildly divorced from reality, like many cooktops • Quiet fan that shuts off about one minute after power-off • No detectable power dips due to overheating so far. Dual IGBTs really help keep the power up and continuous • Attractive, easy to clean cover • Extremely responsive customer service Cons: • Reasonable sized coil, but 8”? Not so sure. Bigger than most. • Not a lot of traction marks on the glass, so pans tend to slide. That’s what handles are for, right? Silicone pad might help, but is not recommended by the company. • Plug not grounded, but still compliant. • Confusing product titles, marketing descriptions, and pricing structure. Overall, the ChangBERT is an excellent cooktop, and I highly recommend it. Be aware that returns to Walmart, for whatever reason, results in a refund not replacement.

I highly recommend this cooktop to anyone. I've used another brand of cooktop before. In comparison of another brand, this cooktop is user friendly, ease of use and convenient. ease of clean and safe. 1800 W power rate but use 120 V Voltage (no needs 240V setup). They also provide with 2 years warranty and service.

This is my first induction cooktop. I wanted something reasonably priced, but not cheap. This one fit the bill. It is very well made, using stainless steel and no cheap plastic. The large coil is very effective at evenly heating the cooking surface and holding temperatures, which is extra important if you're using stainless steel cookware. I recently started transitioning to stainless steel, and though I havent really had any issues with using my electric range, I wanted to test the efficiency and consistency of induction cooking, and I'm not disappointed. I like how I can choose between power or temperature settings. For general cooking, I'm using the power settings. When you turn it on, it defaults to 800 watts, which is the equivilent of a medium setting. This gets me to cooking temperature quickly. I just made pasta the other night, and the "Boil" button, though not really necessary, is convenient way to jump to full power with a single press of a button. The fan is really quiet but does a great job of removing heat from the electronics. The warm air blows out of the rear of the unit, so make sure you have some clearance. So far I've been truly impressed with both the build quality and performance. There are certainly cheaper options available, but this one is worth splurging a little. I think it's a great value from a trusted brand.

this is a great product. it was very user-friendly and easy to use. the heat was spot on and was very efficient. as long as you use the right cookware that's key. my cast iron worked perfectly though. highly recommend

Careful packing. Looks very professional. I am waiting on my induction compatible canner which will arrive the day after tomorrow, but this cooktop appears large and sturdy enough for it.

overall it is Okay, but it has one big problem. The cooling fan will not turn off. The manual says that it shuts off after a couple of minuts to cool down and yes it did when I used it for just 1 minute but after that, it would not shut off. Even letting it run over night. I thought I got a bad unit, so I bought another one and the same thing happened. Last I didn't like receiving store credit for the first one I bought, so I will just keep the second one, for I don't want store credit again. Now I unplug after it cools down for the hot symbol will disappear when done.

I love the item according to the description and everything I read about it BUT I have yet to receive it! Customer service said I would be receiving an email with the next step/update within 24-48 hours (because she escalated it) but it's been 120 hours and NOTHING! Now I have to spend more time on the phone with them! I will update this accordingly.
