The Chapstick Total Hydration Conditioning Lip Scrub is an awesome product and unlike any other lip scrub/exfoliant that I have used in the past. The best thing about this product is most definitely the texture, which I would probably describe as 70% balm and 30% exfoliant. The exfoliant is sugar-like and definitely present, but not nearly as gritty or messy as heavy duty lip scrubs I have used in the past. The peppermint smell/taste is also perfect - it's refreshing without being totally overwhelming. I love the the exfoliant gradually melts away into the balm to prevent any messy clean up or awkward residue. Because the product is exfoliating and super hydrating, I love to use it as prep in the mornings so my matte liquid lipsticks go on smoothly and last all day without looking flaky or dry. Best for chapped lips! Unlike most chapsticks it actually makes your lips look noticeably better and less dry after using, even after removing. My girlfriend tried this and said she will definitely buy it again. It is a scrub, but it is pretty subtle so you could probably just wear it as a normal chapstick if ok with lips looking shinier. It has a nice minty smell from the peppermint.

If you're like me and you full-on doubted the benefits of a scrub like this for lips, well, doubt no more! My lips are so much softer after using this product. I now swear by it if you truly want soft lips, without those peeling off problems. Definitely great to use before wearing any balm or lipstick.

Surprisingly good. I love the vanilla scented chapstick and the tinted chapstick is very subtle. The scrub was actually quite good at removing dry patches, which I didn't expect since it wasn't as abrasive. The lip oil is also moisturizing without being to sticky. Would buy again.

This is a nice alternative to chapstick that applies to your lips a thick cream filled with small crystals. Seems provide very solid protection to your lips, however it leaves behind a lot of residue that you will want to slightly wipe off from your lips. I don't really use Chapstick all that much just because I think it feels really weird when I put it on. For some reason this feels even stranger than regular Chapstick. In addition its not as convenient as regular Chapstick on account of the fact that you have to rinse it off after use. Winter weather is coming, and I was excited to try keep to the winter theme with this peppermint lip scrub. This was the first lip scrub I've ever used. I'm familiar with ChapStick, but typically I just put some on and have nice lips for a while. This product requires more active work to scrub and then remove—you cannot leave it on your lips. The experience is surprisingly gritty—it looks gentle but it really gets in there. My lips are not super chapped, but I could definitely feel it rubbing off any dead skin on my lips. What I didn't like was having to wash it off—in a few minutes my lips actually felt more dry than when I started. They did feel less chapped though, so if that's what I was looking for it would be a net positive. I think if I had more chapped lips I would really love using this product.
