Char-Broil Performance 4-Burner Cabinet Gas Grill

We bought this grill at the store, and then about 2 hours had it assembled. I will say that it probably would have went faster if I wasn't trying to tighten down the screws good and didn't miss some screws on previous steps. All I have to say that it looks similar to our old 2 burner grill other than more burners and a little bit better grill grates. When I bought it I was looking for a grill that would be able to keep a low temp and have flare ups when cooking burgers, that way I can get my smoke boxes to creating smoke for everything.

I'm so glad I didn't listen to the negative comments on this. It's a great grill for the money. Took my boyfriend and I about 2 hours to put together. It's true the instructions are needing some written details and the hardware is labeled but the parts aren't however they are very easy to figure out by the diagrams what is what and we also found a YouTube video that runs you through assembly nicely. As far as performance we fired it up and it heated up real hot no problem. I don't know why some people are having trouble. We grilled out some great really tasty steaks on the first use in no time flat. It's also a breeze to clean up with the pull out drawer and grease trap which was my main selling point. The cleaner you can keep a grill the longer it will last. Here's to hoping for many years of use. But really an appealing and awesome grill for the money.

Once together I really enjoyed cooking on it the instructions however was something to deal with it show pics n the pic parts were numbered but the parts themselves were not so what I thought would take me no time to do took me hours. But end result I highly recommend buying this grill

A lot of parts to put together. I am fairly mechanical and it took me a hour or so. The quality of the grill is exceptional for being on the cheaper end. The heat is definitely higher toward the front of the grill because of the location of burner connections. I am very please with this grill, so much so that I bought another for a family member also in need of a grill.

The set up for this was very simple. It was easily directed. It's a sturdy grill that is very appealing and simple to use. I do wish the parts were labeled.

This grill had everything I was looking for, cast iron grids, side burner and a shelf to put the tank on versus it sitting on the side. It does seem to take some time to heat up that is why I give it a 4 star and not 5.

I purchased the grill on Walmart's website since I don't own a truck to get one home. I also prefer to put things together myself so I know they're done right. It arrived four days later and my wife, son and I got together to assemble it. There was no damaged pieces and all parts were inside the box. We took our time and it was about an hour and a half to assemble. Wasn't difficult but we have experience putting stuff together for the home. Looks great, very sturdy. I have only cooked chicken on it so far and I do see where the other reviews are calling it an oven rather than a grill but it does the job. So far we haven't over cooked anything and it comes out juicy with light grill marks. I am very happy with it and would buy it again if need be. We bought on sale for about $178.00.

Well am a charcoal grill kind of guy, but I was willing to try out this gas grill. It was fairly easy to put the grill together. The first time I started the grill it heated up pretty quickly (525 max). Once I put the food on it cooled down and really did take forever to cook a few burgers. Compared to some of the gas grills of cooked on, the flame did not get as high as I thought. Which I think is why it took so long to cook food. It was not windy outside so that would not affect the flame as others response would say. All in all I would not recommend this grill to anyone.

I have purchased many Char-Broil gas grills previously. This is a very nice looking grill, grill space is great with side burner. However, this grill model does not get as hot as my previous ones. We like to grill fresh corn and it took almost twice as long. After preheating to 400 degrees and you open the lid, it takes several minutes to obtain 400 again. This should not happen with 4 burners. The burner and gas valves are already factory assembled, so there is nothing to check or adjust.

I like a lot of things about this grill except the main and somewhat more important thing. That being the temperature. It seems it won't heat hot enough to "grill". It seems to be more like an oven than a grill. Made some rather thick pork chops last night and they took forever to grill. The thermometer on the top showed a top temp of 400.
