Char-Broil Performance 5-Burner Liquid Propane Gas Grill, Stainless Steel

Easy to assemble with about two minutes of help from a female teenager. I'm an elderly female myself with weakened abilities in both arms. Took about 3.5 hours total to assemble. Great value for the price. Previous model from 2019 needed all burner parts replaced which was under still under warranty but they were out of stock and they didn't know when more would come in and with hurricanes blowing around out there I didn't want to be without a grill for an undetermined amount of time. I spent $50 more than the same model I had would've cost me but THIS model had a few extra bells and whistles such as 4 wheels instead of two, a front two door cabinet which makes it MUCH easier to change the tank, a heavy duty grill tray for small foods, the side shelves are the same material as the grill lid so rusty once painted shelves should not occur (even though I religiously covered my old grill to prevent that) and lastly it has lights around the knobs which I wasn't expecting. I had to look at the diagrams and pictures of the user manual to make certain I was putting the grill together properly. This added time to putting it together for me. Thank goodness I was able to get it together properly the first time without mistakes. I love the look of this grill and it feels really sturdy and made well. The burners were already installed for me and that was really nice. Plenty of storage below for BBQ tools and the propane tank. The tray that catches the drippings and food falling through the grates is incredible. The drip cup slides into the tray underneath it and can be removed easily for cleaning. The tray itself can be removed entirely for easy cleaning. I coated mine with aluminum foil for even easier cleaning and to hopefully prevent rusting. I have only cooked once on this grill since I just put it together a few days ago. But, after cooking some NY Strips and Sausage, that wonderful grill flavor and smell is back and is wonderful. Still trying to figure out the hot and cold areas of the grill at this time. My last grill was a Char Broil and this new grill seems to work exactly as my last grill did. I am able to control the temperature of the grill overall around 250 degrees. Flare ups are still a never ending issue. But, overall, I am happy with the way this grill works. I still have to play with the burners and knowing more about the cooking areas. But, so far, this grill is great and I am looking to many years of use with it.

I do believe that this is a fine piece of equipment. I have not even assembled it as yet. I have one I am currently using that I have had for nine years. I bought this one as a replacement for my current model. Shipping was fast and easy. I was impressed with having it arrive in 2 days. I will try to update when I put it to use.

This is a very good grill ! It is our 2nd Char Broil grill. It arrived within 3 days of ordering. Absolutely perfect condition inside the box. Not a scratch, dent, nor blemish. The instructions for assembly were fairly easy to read and decipher if you 'actually read' the assembly portion and identify the parts before beginning. And you are conscientious about your work and craftsmanship. We had absolutely no problem. Several of the reviews are stating certain times for assembly, and 'yes' we could have easily assembled below their times, BUT, actually took extra time to 'square up' every joint and corner, and tighten each screw and nut according to their 'load bearing' placement. (Yes, I'm a contractor, and it comes naturally). But all in all, it was 1 1/2 hrs. to assemble, and it fired up immediately upon completion. It looks and functions perfectly after 2 days. This is a beautiful grill, at a tremendously reasonable cost, that grilled our first steaks to perfection in less than 12 minutes. We couldn't be happier. Char Broil makes a great product that works. It may not be the 'high end' brand and manufacturer, but who can afford $2000 for the top of the line grill ? This works ! Thank you Char Broil !!!!

do not like the battery operated igniter that is mounted on the second burner so you have to lite it b4 you can lite any other burners unless you use a lighter or match. Assembly was quick and straight foward even if you can not read, the illustrations are enough to assemble, just don't do it in direct sunlight or you run the risk of burning yourself pretty badly on the shiney stainless steel

The grill is excellent, but don't make the mistake of gettint their add-on assembling service. Two different techs from Angi (Wal-Mart's service partner) cancelled last minute on two separate scheduled appointments. If you are not building this grill on your own, I advise that you get a handyman to do it for you. It's a lot cheaper than Wal-Mart's add-on service

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. Good-It was pretty easy to put together. Bad- It's basically a piece of tin Ugly- Oil and fat dripped between pan and cup I bought this to replace a 6 year old CharBroil. I've replaced pieces over the years but now the firebox has rotted through. I was surprised as to how thin the material was. Though well packed there was till a “ding” in one piece. Lid very light and wobbles a bit. Side walls also very thin. Red lights look nice, but do nothing else. Oil and grease leaked through. I had to clean oil spots off of my pavers. I'd like to return it bit I needed to use it the day I assembled it. Very disappointed in the quality. Guess CharBroil is the next company to crank out inferior products. At best, a disposable grill. I'll be lucky to get two years out of this.

I had weber grills in the past. My last grill lasted 17 years, don't get me wrong in that time i did have to replace burners and flavorizer bars. I purchased charbroil grill because i felt that the weber did not get hot enough for proper searing. The weber was definately built much heavier then the charbroil, but you get what you pay for. I can only see what to expect from this grill. Assembly was not to bad, how ever did have slight dent in side panel. I know it grills hotter then my previous grill, but if i get half the use i got from my weber i will be happy.

This grill caught fire after 3 uses!!! We had cleaned it recently so it was brand new and clean. They refused to cover our product stating that the warranty doesn't cover fire. Well it shouldn't have caught fire in the first place! We had to use a fire extinguisher to put out the fire, that's why it looks so bad. I would giver ZERO stars if I could!

Item arrived damaged. Didn't notice until one of the last steps. One of the heat shields would not reach across. Damaged paint on inside of fire box. Cheap metal. The BBQ is cheap and flimsy. Super disappointed. How can I return assembled BBQ. Don't want to assemble another one either. Run away from this trash
