Char-Griller Premium Red 22” Charcoal Kettle Grill, Folding Side Shelves

I brought this grill last summer and have been using it a lot. I grill about once a week. I love this grill. I have a natural gas grill also. When I got this all the BBQ stuff was on sale so I bought a lot of cool BBQ toys. The first thing I cooked where about 12 hamburgers and hot links. I bought a smoker pan that the wood chips go in and I use the lip under the grill grate with two flat steel 2 inch width bars to hold it in place. And I drilled holes on the bottom of the smoke pan. It passes the Flames and heat though it. Man is it tasty . Each time I use my BBQ it gets better. I clean the outside and the grate after each grilling. I got a cover for it and it looks like brand new. I put bigger side s hooks on it because I didn't like the smaller ones , just me. The side wings are strong enough for my use. The charcoal and smoke chips are tasty and smells great with the food cooking together.

We were looking for a Grill/Smoker combo, the reviews on this one are really good. There are some accessories that we are going to purchase like the smoker stone and side charcoal cage for smoking. So far we are happy with our purchase and satisfied with the performance of the grill.

Put together with only one screw/nut missing that should have been pre-installed. Otherwise, all required assembly parts were on hand. Setup great for smoking, but quick grilling requires the coal grate to be raised closer to top to allow this. Can't do it with the current setup without adding a huge pile of coal or wood to create high heat. Will be looking for a 21 inch grate to allow coals to sit approx. 6" under cooking grate.

I have owned gas grills, and little flat charcoal grills, but never a kettle grill. I was looking to spend my tax refund and i wanted a grill. The description on the box indicated that this grill could also be a smoker. This made my wife and I both take notice as we have always wanted to smoke meats but apartment living presents space problems. One grill, two functions. We looked at a Weber as well as the CharGriller. The hingesd lid and deeper kettle appealed to me. We purchased this and have just given it a tryout. Some of the best burgers ever were pulled from the grill. I am learning how to use the vents to control the temp. Even with direct heat/flame, these burgers were still cooked "low and slow". When removed from the grill, they were fully cooked but also very juicy, not dried out as in the past. I really like this grill. We had the grill assembled in store, thank you very much. (Free Assembly On All Grills - at least in Macon, Ga.) Transportation home was no issue as the grill is lightweight. Heavy duty wheels make moving the grill extremely easy. Ceramic grate was an easy cleanup. Cannot think of anything bad to say about this grill. Excellent product. I have not tried out the "smoker" function yet, can't wait until I have time to do so. As a newbie to kettle grills, I would say this one is excellent.

Fire rack not adjustable, to far from the cooking surface

Kind of cheaply made. Wheels will not tighten up. Wish the grate for the charcoal was adjustable.

This is better than I imagined. Ceramic over stainless. Easy to put together, easy to use. It reached optimum temp in a short time and cooked my beef to perfection in a much shorter time than traditional grills. I love it!

Excellent product

Very poor quality grill. Parts of the grill are missing the coating on it. And the bottom piece that holds the ash collector broke off while moving it outside. All they did was small little Tak welds. I didn't even get to use before it fell apart.
