Char-Griller Smokin' Pro™ Offset Smoker Grill | Black Charcoal Barrel Grill with Side Fire Box Attachment

I've had a Chargriller Barrel grill that this offset smoker is replacing and at my campground I have the Chargriller Duo propane and gas grill setup. Wanted to smoke my wings to switch up from grilling all the time. I haven't used my smoker yet but assembly wasn't too hard. Just waiting on the right weather and day to kick things off.

This smoker was a Christmas gift for my husband and he absolutely loves it. He is new to smoking, but quickly researched and is becoming a Smokin' Pro! He loves using the smoker as just a grill, experimenting with different woods and charcoals, it has really become one of new favorite hobbies. Well made and easy to assemble. 10/10 would purchase again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this smoker for almost 20 years and it has hands down produced the best smoked meat out of any smokers I've had or used. Another nice feature is being able to raise or lower the lower grate. Comes in handy when I'm using as a regular grill. And it's holding up nicely after 20 years!

Came in with lots of scratches and the assembly nuts/bots were scattered throughout the grill. Other than that it has been good so far.

Got pretty banged up in the delivery process, so clearly better packaging is needed. Otherwise, good grill for the money. Ended up adding some gasket tape to create a better seal, some places tough to do this since the lid doesn't "sit" on top of the base (slides by). Would love to see a slider that allows the fire box to be shut off from the main compartment to use as a standalone small grill, as well as dropping the height of the smokestack inside the grill. All in all, good purchase, just know that it's not professional grade and you'll be happy with it.

The item arrived in a very damaged box. I put it together, and although I got it together, the bottom is clearly warped. The grates barely fit on the grill and when I attempt to clean the gates, they fell. Also the side tray has hooks that are damaged and I can't use them.

I really wanted to like this grill, but the grill grates fall inside when you try to clean them. Out of the four grates only one stays in place. Now you have to pull them out of the blazing hot charcoal bed. The grates that came with my grill are to short by least a 1/2 ". Mind you if you don't touch them, it fine, but as soon as you touch it with a grill brush it falls inside.

This grill is apiece of crap! It came scratched and one of the legs was totally bent. It is not at all as advertised!

I bought this grill for a large crowd expected for Mothers Day and was really excited to get this unit. Almost every single component for this grill had some degree of damage. From the legs, primarily grill barrel, the side smoker, EVERYTHING. Even the lower part of the primary grill barrel is bend preventing a perfect closure. The parts package was damaged causing the nuts, small bolts, washers and cotter pins to be all over the box. The side trays attachment was even bent making installation onto the lower barrel very difficult. It's almost as if Char-Griller loaded my unit in a plane and tossed it out from 30,000 feet. The amount of damage on this “new” grill is so over the top that it almost seems like they're playing a cruel joke. The quality of my purchase is totally unacceptable and makes me question if quality control even matters.
