Unable to put it together.

Excellent option for those who live in a place that will only allow electric "grills". It gets super hot, it can sear stuff, the grate is good for grill marks and then there is a stainless flat top you can use for searing and veggies / eggs ect. Easy to clean up. Best option out there for the money.

I bought this to use in my apartment since they only allow electric grills. This hybrid model was a perfect option so I can use charcoal which is my preferred method, down the road. So far it's been a great grill. The electric gets extremely hot, so you have that option, large cooking area is great for multiple people.

Well designed and engineered product. Assembly is labor of love so be prepared to spend 45-90 minutes depending on skill set for assembly. Need a screwdriver and small socket or wrench to complete task. Suggestions are better explaining how the grill grate needs to be lifted and turned for charcoal use and turned left and pushed down for electric. Was not immediately evident and missed the height marks on E and C marks on back of grill as I kept trying to turn the grate vs lifting it. Have not yet used yet but overall happy with quality.

With the option to use electric or charcoal, you really get the best of both worlds. It is the perfect size for a back patio. Highly, highly recommended!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgrading my outdoor cooking setup with the Char-Broil Bistro Pro Electric Grill & Griddle + Charcoal Mode (the red one!) has been a great decision. Assembly wasn't exactly a walk in the park, though. It took over an hour to put the whole thing together, and it was definitely a bit challenging doing it solo, especially when trying to attach the shelves. Speaking of the shelves, there was a bit of a snag. The screws that are supposed to hold the upper side shelves in place just wouldn't go into the pre-drilled holes. Grabbing a drill to widen the holes a bit was necessary. Not a huge deal, but without those screws, the shelves were a little wobbly. Just something to be aware of! Once everything was finally assembled, operation is super easy. The flexibility of having both electric and charcoal options is really great. The charcoal mode is especially appealing because it means no more messing with lighter fluid! Trying to get charcoal to light is always such a headache. Mostly, the electric option will likely be the go-to choice. Dealing with charcoal can be such a hassle – buying it, lugging it around, storing it, making sure it doesn't go bad...it's just too much sometimes. Being able to plug this in and get grilling is a huge win, and controlling the heat is so simple with the dial. I put it to the test right away, and dinner turned out fantastic! The grill performed beautifully, and the food had that perfect grilled flavor. It was a great feeling knowing that I could achieve such delicious results with minimal fuss. And the fact that the grill parts are small enough to clean in the sink? Another win! Overall, despite the little hiccup with the shelves during assembly, this grill is a big hit. It's perfect for anyone who wants the convenience of electric with the option of charcoal flavor, and it's definitely recommended for anyone looking for a versatile and easy-to-use grilling solution!

It is durable and easy to clean. It is high quality and I like that you can use either electric or charcoal. I would recommend it for sure.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This grill was pretty easy to assemble. Cleaning it takes barely any time, I love how the griddle and flat top comes off for easy cleaning. I like that it has a digital temperature gauge. It is bigger than what I thought, but still is space efficient. I really like the aesthetic of it a lot too. It's easy to move and not super heavy. Can't wait to use it full time in the spring/summer!

Not happy. Emitters are to enclosed and too close to grates which causes flare ups and smoke from drips. Need something more open or tent like to allow drips to fall not collect. Too much smoke as a result. Please redesign and send me a retrofitted emitters.

Red paint was peeling off when I unboxed to assemble.
