As with all BBQs, the assembly was a bit tedious, but the instructions and diagrams were clear and understandable - just take your time. The BBQ itself works wonderfully, and if you brush your food with a slight bit of liquid smoke, you get all the taste and smell of a real charcoal BBQ, but without the mess and hassle :) Perfect for apartment balconies or patios.

I think the product is great - sick of the gas grills. Takes a lot of time to heat up which is not a problem it is just different than the old way of BBQ'n ... The steaks off this grill are absolutely delicious. I'm still learning to use the grill and I expect that grilling vegetable temp should be around 300 rather that 500 for steaks. Great sturdy product.

I can't have a gas grill on my city terrace so I bought electric. Nothing replaces a true fire grill but I've been happy to cook outdoors again. The grill has several plastic parks but is an overall nice product and a good value if you can't go gas, charcoal or wood.

This is the best patio grill ever!!

Delivery was good, and timely. Product was exactly as advertised, and we have grilled on it twice with good results. It takes a longer time to heat up than a gas grill, but it works well so far.

I'd hoped to use this on my deck, but the voltage drop from the outlet about 25 ft away (along an extension cord allowed in the manual) resulted in an inability to attain a temperature over 350 (too low to sear). So, if you need an extension cord, plan on slow cooking only. Also: took about 2 hours to put together, even though the instructions were very clear— many steps.

Lid was damaged

We have only had it 2 weeks and the heating element went out and they say it's on backorder till the end of the month. Not good customer service.

The heating element stopped working. I sent a message to the seller through Walmart and have not heard back

was not what I expected. It is like cooking meat on an oven rack on broil.
