Amazing product! The last Charbroil grill I had lasted over 10 years.Just had it outside on my deck never covered.Always worked perfectly. It was starting to need some parts replaced from rusting so I decided to just buy a new one.It was a great choice!Love my new grill. This time I bought a cover.Such a great product now that it's covered I may never need to buy another.👍
Ordered on line. Upon opening, noted a couple of dented and missing parts. Contacted Charbroil and they remedied promptly! We've now grilled 4 times and I must say I'm very pleased with ease of operation; performance; and results of grilled items. Temp control works great. I can recommend this product!
My grill is just as advertised and I am really enjoying it
This is my second Char-Broil. It was easy to assemble and it works well.
I have only used Char-Broil BBQ's for the past 30 years and they have never let me down! This performance grill is perfect! Large enough for lots of grilling and a side burner for sauces! Plus a top rack for keeping warm!
I bought my grill a month ago and it works just as you want a grill to work. For the price I think it's a fantastic product. Time will tell durability.
Positives: Addition of plastice feet to stabilize the grill. Changing the size of the heat tents which was a weakness in the old grill which quickly started to rust out. Changing the drip cup to a slide was a positive move. Negatives: Why on earth did someone decide to elliminate the handle for moving the grill. If I had known I would have transferred from my old one before it went out to the garbage pick up. the new grill I believe is 7 inches shorter in width than the old one and it appears to me that they just shrunk everything down to get the 4 burners in this architecture and it appears the burners are less powerfull. Granted we have only cooked on it twice thus far. The side shelves seem to be the same size. I was satisfied with the instruction but it still took me a long time to get it together and eventually I had to replace my tank with a newer one because it was leaking with the new valve attached. The removable sliding seemingly aluminum tray was a good idea but the execution is another matter. It is so flimsy and bendable that I fear it is going to fall out of the grill and does not want to seat itself all the way in position. We have purchased a grill cover for this one since we know how quickly these things can rust out while stored outside in this Memphis weather.
This one has a more sturdy warming rack but since it is stationary it gets in the way of anything on back of grill you are trying to flip over. Makes it difficult if you have a pretty full grill of burgers or chicken. Also, after 2 uses the electronic igniter failed. Clicked on replace part on warranty (or whatever it said) and it goes to a "opps can't find that page." Had to buy a replacement igniter, easy enough fix but really, used it twice. Also, keep an eye on the grease drip pan, fills up rather quickly depending on what you're grilling.
I bought this for my husband as a birthday gift. It arrived with a huge dent in the stainless, which we didn't notice until it was almost fully assembled. The grill feels a bit flimsy overall but we've cooked on it a few times and it works fine, although my husband mentioned that the flame doesn't subside when you turn the knob down.
Been a long time char broil customer and have used a 4 burner grill for the last 8 years. The replaced grill was great which led me to purchase a new 4 burner. The new one is just not made to the same quality of the old. It's smaller, less quality materials overall. All I wanted was the same thing. Disappointed....
