Charbroil® Performance Series™ 6-Burner Gas Grill

I've had a similar grill for several years now and have been very pleased with it. As indicated it's several years old now, which is why I'm currently on this web site. As with all things you need to take care of it properly, but it will still wear out. I'm looking to replace mine, but still happily using it until I find a new grill.

Stainless burners...cast iron grate...sear burner...very well built! I will never own a grill without those things. Great job Char-Broil!

Love this grill. Its 10 or more years old. Have replaced the burners once. She still works well today. Going to replace it in the spring time. Hope the new one lives up to its name

Haven't cooked on it yet, but im sure it'll be as good as every other ive ever had. Problem was first, missing knob for controll, easy enough fix. BUT one of the reasons I got this model is that the knobs were back lite. The connector that supposed to have 2 pins only has one. SUPER BUMMER CHARBROIL. So there's no way whatso ever to remove all the wires for the lights, BUT, if you can send me just the clip itself with a section of wire attached I can fix.

I bought my grill and the discreption had know nothing to do with a sear burner and neither did the picture and I paid for the more money and shipping and could have bought the samething locally for less money.

Pros: Large cooking surface, sear burner, great cabinet and outer metal, no plastics except for the wonderfully large and easy to turn knobs. Cons: Sear burner burnt out after first year - spews flames everywhere except wear they are needed. Three of 5 burners are split between holes and are hard to regulate, poor cooking pattern. Bottom panel in the fire area has rotted through and is now collapsed and hanging over the propane bottle. Will not use anymore for safety reasons, shopping for a new unit. Grates are almost impossible to get clean, especially when they are scraped before every use. The stainless steel used in the flame plates, burners, and lighting channels is quite thin and not made to last much more than 3-4 years without rotting away. We use the BBQ at least once a week, including the winter.

This is the second grill that I have had that the start quit after a year and my neighbors starter quit too. We have tried everything and nothing works. Also, when grilling only the front of the grill has adequate flames. the back of the grill does not have flames. You can only cook on the front of the grill.

The wife bought the 6 burner grill (463284022) later decided she wanted a rotisserie. Our BBQ is 32" but the Char-broil universal rotisserie (9768102) is 26". Questioned that 2 times and was told it would definitely fit. Bought and installed but could not close the lid. Questioned again and was told that the universal (what does universal mean?) model doesn't my BBQ but there is a fix, which is to "cut a notch" in the lid. The wife said do it.. Luckily I had the tools. It now closes but looks like someone cut a notch in the lid. Also the shaft is not exactly level since the collar rides a little high in the frame cutout. Seems like all this could be prevented by cutting a notch in the lid during manufacture and extended the shaft to 32+ inches.

I bought this a month ago and most of the flame is on the front and has caught on fire 3 times already!!

The assembly valve in front causes is a huge hot spot burns your food and makes it incredibly difficult to utilize the back of the grill because it heats up your wrists an arms! Terrible design unless they move the valve to the back again I cannot recommend this grill.
