The best. The best gas grill.
I bought this grill in the winter of 2022. The grill performance is great. We BBQ chicken and steak once a week through out the year and it is time for a new grill. The burner tubes, flame carry overs, and grease tray are on its last; but it's still going. So, I ordered the exact grill. I keep the current grill covered when not in use; however. The grill sits outside without a canopy. I never experienced a startup problem or performance issue throughout its use. I usually get 7 to 10 hours of grilling, which for me is a frequency at 6 to 7 BBQ sessions per 20-pound propane tank at 1-hour to 1.5 hours with all 6 burners set to low. With the new order, this is our 3rd grill with the exact model number or style.
Bought this grill about a month ago. Took little over an hour to assemble it. This grill replaced another 6 burner Charbroil grill I purchased about 6-7 years ago. The new one has noticeably lighter/thinner wall construction and the back is completely open. Old one had a half wall. The side shelves are also shorter on this model, maybe by 2-3 inches. The upper shelf grill has two heights, differing by an inch or less but would've liked to have it the same height all the way across. Overall, seems to work fine.
Just purchased this grill and I find it to adequate for cooking. The burners seem to be tied toghter with a flat band of metal that also has fire coming out of it. The burners have the smallest grease shields ever seen, and they seem to work well with the ultimate test of burgers! Secondly, they made provision to light up the knobs, cool at night but not necessary and need a plastic see thru insert to eliminated knob wobble. Third, the main grill hood handle is hollow tubing which gets very hot almost immediately. Need plugs for the inside of hood or solid handle. And finally the cabinet has no back wall? For the money I would expect a back enclosure for the cabinet. Guessing you all at charbroil have never had animals in your grill?
door to grill arrived dammaged does not have closed back i think it should for this proce range other then this i like it .....id like a replacement door or discout for damage other then this deceant product
I bought this grill to replace a previous CB grill. My old grill both searing burners have issues. Although I tried to get parts and in stock? were not. The price of the parts if all avail were more expensive than the grill so I decided if I got two no issue seasons I would be satisfied. I am almost at one year. The back(of the grill) was originally opened but if you look at the parts list the #'s are for a cover and not the support. I was going to attach aluminum to the back for New York winter Grilling. So it took two panels and the lower screwed into the factory base holes and the shelves attached to each other with bolts and to hold the upper tray I purchased some small zinc c-clamps and secured it to the frame. I also put two dumbbell weights of 15 & 25 lbs as it doesn't feel solid to stay. The tray for warming for me is about 10% practical. It's not really high enough to brush your grill without removing and if I am not using it there isn't an actual place to store so it goes inside the cabinet. BE AWARE OF THE GREASE TRAY. I RECOMMEND WHEN YOU HAVE ANY CONTAINER YOU EMPTY IT. IF YOU HIT IT IT MIGHT COME UNDONE.....
Purchased, assembled & discovered they're was no back cover for the grill as pictured on website. Contracted company, they had to have a Supervisor look into it & advised me they didn't know why the part was left off the parts/parts list/design flaw.
Bought this grill a couple of weeks ago. Had the same style grill for about seven years. My old grill was much higher quality, and the burners produced a lot more heat. It seems like it takes forever to cook burgers or a steak on the grill. Also, they do not give you anywhere to hang up your barbecue tools on the side. I have to buy the hooks it just seems like it’s a much cheaper grill. Also, the warming rack is a lot narrower and you really can’t hold too much up on top. I used to keep a tray of vegetables that was sautéed up there, but there is actually not enough room for that. I tried to do it and it spilt all over. I should’ve looked around and bought something better.
I've had my grill for less than 2 years. Had a grease fire and the fire box completely warped. Now its useless because the center grill grates can no longer be supported. When I called in, they were pleasant but said there is nothing they can do without the receipt in hand. Since I have no idea where the receipt is, I'm out of luck. Note to self, if you buy a Char-Broil, hold onto the receipt.
I bought this about two years and it's not what i was expecting. One of the burners stopped working after first use. Now all of them are working on low yellow fire and smokes everywhere and everything on black smoke.
