Assembly requires some patience, but is ultimately successful. Some parts from prior models [notably the grates] still fit. I had replaced my grates not long ago, so that is a pleasant plus. This size is great for the two of us and occasional guests. If you are regularly grilling for a larger group, the size may not work. The function from lighting the grill to clean-up works well and allows a fair amount of creativity. I tend to use grill sheets/mats, and this grill functions very well with those [and it stays much cleaner].

The product guide for assembly was easy to follow. The parts were very well packed in the carton with no damage. The screw package was very easy to follow with the guide. The main reason I chose Charbroil, was the time you took to make sure everything was right and fits proper before it ends up with the customer.

As the title states this is my second CB is 12 years. The first was a 4 burner Tru infared and I fell in love with CB but after years of use I wore out the firebox making an unsafe situation, since my family has grown and move on we decided to down size. When my wife asked what I wanted to replace the grill with I informed her "There is NO OTHER KIND but CHAR BROIL."

Assembly was a little tedious, but with some patience it went together well. Advise to anybody who buys this is to plan assembly. Lay everything out and take your time. I fired it up and it seems to work well. I'll be grilling this weekend and hope it is better than my old one!

We just got it yesterday. Was pretty easy to assemble but we took our time with it. Cooked hamburgers on it and the heat was good and was plenty of space for 5 really big burgers. It looks nice, fits in a small space in garage, price was good. Happy so far with it

We bought our first char broil grill in Florida. It wore out so bought another one in 2015. I lost that one in 2022 during Hurricane Ian. I moved back to Wisconsin in October of 2022 but couldn't get agril! I moved back to Plymouth in November of 2025. I now have a garage but waited until Spring to get my grill! I love it!

I haven't had enough time to cook on it yet. I got it on the two days ago on 4-28, but the installation I did myself. About a 2 hour job, but pretty straight forward. It's a classy little grill! I'm excited to get cooking in it.!!! Just ordered my cover for it too!

Our large five year old Charbroil Tru Infrared grill was showing it's age and it was really bigger than we needed anyway. So we ordered a new, two burner propane, Performance Grill. Except for one problem it's a five star grill -- hamburgers, steaks, chicken, pizza, scones, corn bread -- does them all. The One, potentially dangerous, problem. On our grill is that the two flame control knobs do not turn the gas fully off. The only way to turn the gas fully off is the valve for the propane supply. When you finish cooking if you don't close the propane supply valve, gas is still flowing. Enough gas to keep the burner flames on, although at a low level. This also means that you can not cook, at a low temperature, using only one burner.

Nice looking grill not too terribly difficult to assemble. Be aware that this grill will need to be thoroughly cleaned after each and every use or will flare up beyond control! Buyer beware!

Unfortunately, we haven't put it completely together yet because we're missing the wheels and corner pieces. Have to make another trip to Fleet Farm to see if we can get the missing pieces. Very frustrating!!
