Charbroil Performance Series™ FlavorMax™ 4 Burner Gas Grill Cabinet with Sear Burner Blackout

This bbq has been great. I got it used and stripped it down and cleaned it up. I've been using it for 5 years straight with no problems. It got so dirty that I've stripped it down again and now it needs a few parts that have basically disintegrated (carry over tubes). Of course the plastic inserts for the wheels are toast and it sits on a 4x4 on one side, these were a poor design. Other than those issues it has been well loved and well used in the last 10yrs.

Assembled at the store, the grill works perfectly. I'm enthralled that there is an optional griddle and plan to purchase as soon as it's available. The charcoal converter is less interesting to me - but it's another versatile option. I hardly ever used the side burner on my previous grill. The 4-burner span allowed me to use 2 grill baskets in addition to the protein. I was cooking for 2; there was plenty of space to do everything. One drawback. I found it challenging to connect the hose to the propane tank. Because of the side burner, the tank was on the right side of the cabinet. I'm right-handed; it was difficult to use my right hand with the connection.

Got another charbroil because the first one I had lasted 20 years. I am so impressed with the build quality of this one, the nice cabinet to store the propane and accessories, and the grill performance is fantastic. It heats up so quick. Sometimes I even have to turn a burner off because the heat just keeps going up - even with the little open it stays very consistent and with the grills off it stays warm for a while. Highly highly recommend! Love the sear burner also

loved the 4 wheels. sear grill and cabinet i grill a lot and my last charbroil lasted 20 years. you make great quality grills and i will not buy another brand

Our last grill was a Charbroil. It lasted 8 years and probably could have gotten a few more but the cost of new grids was not worth it. It is perfect for an entry level grill.

Just started using it it heats up super fast and appears to be a super nice grill that holds a propane bottle underneath and has a sear function. The electronic igniter works perfect too.

Grill seems fairly well made although just like all the inexpensive grills I have come across the grills leak water into the grease pan and then run all over my pool deck.......that needs to be resolved

I Love the ease of using my unit and the flexibility of being able to use it as a grill or with charcoal. Very easy to use and temperature is easily regulated. However, I am really disappointed in the quality of materials used to construct the gas side. We received the unit at Christmas 2022 and didn't use it until the spring and summer of that year. We rarely use it in the fall/winter. It's always kept under a Char-broil cover out of the elements. I replaced the heat tents today and the support holding both the middle and right elements are broken! In addition, there is a hole in the middle of the unit behind the gas burner in the middle that goes all the way through the back! This unit gets completely cleaned every spring and debris is brushed out after every use! I am really disappointed in the quality of this unit and am contacting the company. This is really unacceptable.

I just bought this grill on July 5th, 2025 and the igniter doesn't work. I have tried every troubleshooting tip I could find and it still doesn't spark. I had to light the grill manually. I have not gotten support to join a chat to respond to me and help.
