[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this a lot of times before taking the time to review. I can honestly say this is was this grill that motivated me to learn how to BBQ better. It is honestly pretty easy to use. As a new person to have a grill, it took me a while to figure out what I was doing. I love this so much I even bought a cover for it to keep it protected. I am so blessed to be able to test this grill for free from influenster. It is nice, durable, and easy to light. Now I need to learn how to clean it better
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Outstanding grill that looks beautiful on my back porch. This girl cooks well, cleans well, and is durable. Fair warning: it was tough to put together and took me three hours to assemble all of the parts.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Charbroil Performance Series FlavorMax 5 Burner Gas Grill from @influenster. This grill has become my go-to way to cook dinner most nights! I'm talking 5 out of 7 nights a week! The grill came in a box, which was very heavy, and took me a little over an hour to put together. Make sure to look at all the parts and have everything you need to put it together. Once I had it all put together, I have been in grilling heaven ever since! I LOVE this grill! It works great. I've grilled steaks, burgers, chicken kabobs that have turned out wonderful! I had to get used to controlling the temperature, but I had it after a few days of grilling. The 5 burners offers a wide range of temperature usage. The cast iron grates sear the meat just right. There is also a second tier warming rack . The second tier warming rack is a ceramic-coated grate. I use this for warming up buns, baking a potato, or for corn on the cob. I am careful cleaning the ceramic grate so I don't scratch the ceramic surface. One thing I have hated on previous grills is the cleaning the grease trap. This grease trap is very large and makes cleaning it so much easier! Let's not forget the side burner! It is so nice to have when grilling. I've warmed up hotdog chili, baked beans, and even soup on it! It's nice to have everything I'm cooking on one place. This grill also has a place for the propane tank to sit. This grill gets really hot with all 5 burners going. One thing I haven't tried yet is smoking meat on it. I can't wait to try it! I love this grill!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Charbroil FlavorMax grill is an awesome, easy to use grill! It has a huge grilling surface with the 5 burners, is so simple to use, and the extra side burner is an added bonus! The porcelain grates ensured the food is cooked evenly and cleans easily, and the electronic ignition makes it so easy and quick to start up. It also has two shelves under the grill itself for storage, which is a big bonus. There were two issues we had during assembly: one piece had a dent in it (see picture) but it didn't affect the function so it wasn't a big deal to us. Then, there is a small venturi clip that hooks to the tube that the simmer burner attaches to from the control knob. The clip does not hook anywhere like the instructions say. My husband ended up going to a hardware store and checked how it was attached on a different Charbroil grill, and luckily it ended up working the same on this one (see pic). Again, not a big deal to us because we were able to figure it out, but definitely take note of that! Overall we have been super impressed with this high quality, quick and easy to use gas grill. We have already recommended this model to friends and family!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, this thing is VERY heavy, so it is definitely made very well! We have only used it once so far because of this crazy weather in Ohio, but there is nothing like grilled food on a warm sunny day! Cleaning the grill is so much better than previous ones we have owned because of the drip pan. Assembly was very easy; I think it took me about 40-45 minutes By myself. And that was because I had dogs running around while trying to do it haha! It's a gorgeous grill and works perfect!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got my hands on the Charbroil Performance Series FlavorMax 5 Burner Gas Grill, and let me tell you, it's pretty much become my go-to for dinner almost every night. I'm talking 6 out of 7 nights a week, this bad boy is fired up! First things first, the assembly. It took me about an hour, but full disclosure, I definitely made it harder on myself. Here's a pro tip: take absolutely everything out of the box first. Unwrap all the pieces, open every lid, and seriously look in every nook and cranny. Lay it all out before you even glance at the instructions. I learned the hard way that many of the smaller items are cleverly hidden inside other parts. Do this, and you'll probably fly through the setup much quicker and smoother than I did! Once it was all put together, though? Oh man, I was in grilling heaven. I absolutely love this grill! It just works great. I've done the usual grilling – burgers, chicken, steaks – but I've also baked on it and even done some smoking. The versatility is fantastic. Temperature control was an adjustment for me, but after a few days of using the grill, I had it down. With having 5 burners, it offers a wide range of temperature usage, from going low and slow to schorching hot for searing. One of my favorite features has to be the cast iron grates. They give such a great sear, and if you season them properly before your first use and keep up with it periodically, they're a dream. The second tier warming rack is a ceramic coated grate. I don't use it a ton, mostly for heating up buns or maybe an occasional baked potato or some corn on the cob if I want them to cook slow and steady. Just a heads-up: be gentle when cleaning that ceramic grate; you don't want to use anything abrasive on it. Let's talk convenience. The grease trap is a HUGE help and makes cleanup so much less of a chore – which means more grilling and less scrubbing, a win in my book! And the side burner? Chef's kiss! It's such a nice addition. I use it all the time to whip up a quick side dish. It's perfect for making chili, especially when I'm grilling hotdogs. No more running back and forth to the kitchen! Plus, there's a handy storage spot for the propane tank, built-in hangers for my utensils, and two shelves that are super useful for keeping plates and seasonings nearby. This grill can get seriously hot when all burners are blazing, which is awesome for searing. It's also large enough that I can easily have one side lit for direct heat and cook food on the other side with indirect heat – perfect for smoking or for cooking different things at once. It's definitely an awesome grill and easily large enough to handle cooking for the whole family. Now, it's not perfect, but what is? The covers over the burners are slotted, so if you're cooking something particularly greasy, like fatty burgers, the grease can still drip down onto the flame and cause a flare-up. You just have to keep an eye on things so you don't accidentally char your dinner. My only other real wish is that it had a set of swivel caster wheels. The current wheels are fine for straight lines, but maneuvering it around the patio would be a lot easier with swivels. Also, there isn't really a dedicated handle to lift the grill with when you do need to move it, so adding one of those would be a nice touch for future models. But honestly, those are minor gripes. Overall, I am absolutely thrilled with this Charbroil grill. It's quick, easy to use, versatile, and has made outdoor cooking even more of a joy. If you're on the fence, I'd say go for it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This grill was surprisingly easy to assemble. The side burner comes in so handy. It seems very durable so far. Cooking performance is phenomenal!
Nice grill for the money. I've had it about a month and cooked on it almost every day this summer. Little flimsy in some places and it shipped w out a lid handle so I'm giving it 4/5 stars. I just made my own using some stainless tubing and lumber. Still annoying tho.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super excited about this unit! We own a small charbroil grill (2burner) this will be great this summer when friends are over and cooking more. This unit is flimsy compared to our other. Had to bend a few pieces when putting together but overall, seems like a decent unit. Like that the grates are removable for easy cleaning. The side burner is a nice option for cooking beans and such outside. Gave 4 stars due to the flimsy feel of pieces.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Omg!!! This All in one grill is everything I needed. The assembly was a little rough but I got it once I figured what part went where. It's easy to clean and very durable. It's a propane grill so it's easy to attach a tank to it. You can even cook pizza 🍕 yummm!!!! Amazing an absolutely recommend purchasing this!!!
