Charcoal 12 lbs Microfiber Weighted Blanket 48"x72"

As someone with PTSD and anxiety issues, I've always wanted one of these blankets as I've heard so many good things about them. As soon as I opened the box I realized this blanket is really soft! The weight of it isn't overwhelming either. It feel like a nice hug to help ease the anxiety. I was worried about sleeping with it as I'm a weird sleeper but it was easy to move under.

My 19 yr old daughter has battled anxiety (especially nighttime anxiety) for quite a while now I've always heard that these weighted blankets do tremendous for people with anxiety and those that wake alot at night. And I can also now attest to the fact, it works! This blanket made her sleep all the way through the night and she dreamed for the first time in ages! She dreamed! Which means her body was able to get into a deep enough sleep to allow her to dream. The weight is just right and the beads are evenly distributed throughout the blanket so that they don't all collect in one area. We choose blue because we feel it goes with so many decor styles, you just can't go wrong. And the size is great! It fits her queen size bed just right! This is a winner! Great product!

This product is very well made. . My daughter has anxiety and has to use sleep aids. We both think she may be able to give up the sleep aids and just use this blanket. I have always wanted to buy her one. It is here, she is loving it and I am happy. Any meds people can get away from by products used to help I am all for. This blanket is good for one person. Material is extremely soft She says it is the perfect weight . I agree she can wrap this around her shoulders to watch a show or sleep with it. Love. Love. Love

This weighted blanket is so cozy and good sized! It's a soft material the weight feels really nice on the body I've noticed I fall asleep faster with it and I sleep a little longer it's perfect as a wedding gift or for an anniversary! My husband loved it he likes the feeling of the weight how soft it is and how the little beads are in each little square of the blankets design so that they don't just all go into one place!

Wow! I had no idea how a weighed blanket would feel but this is awesome! After I opened up the boxes it came in I noticed the beautiful navy blue color but first I was amazed at how it really does weigh 12 pounds. I don't know why I'm so shocked but I guess it's because it's so awesome. My hubby will be fighting me for it! Sorry sweetie! After laying down for a nap I realized later how fast I fell asleep and took a great nap! I was refreshed and ready to go again. Great great great product!

This weighted blanket is incredible! I had purchased another that was HOT (and I am rather cold-natured). I retirned it after finding this one!! I have severe arthritis and resulting insomnia. I would toss and turn all night, waking frequently. This blanket is a MIRACLE; once I get to sleep, I STAY asleep, all because of this blanket. Definitely a worthwhile purchase!!

Yes Yes Yes! Finally a perfect weighted blanket that helps me to get a great nights sleep!! This weighted blanket is the perfect weight for me. I wanted something with some weight but not too much weight. The color grey is light and beautiful and the blanket is soft and comfortable. I was thrilled to receive this weighted blanket. It came quick and was packages in a little box. When I opened it, I could not wait for my son, who has autism, to try it, so we promptly put it across his bed. He laid down, covered up with this blanket across him sideways and actually fell asleep, took a nap, which is not like him at all. 12 pounds seems to be the perfect weight and the blanket, although it's suited for a twin, works perfectly cross ways on his queen bed. The quality of the blanket is very nice. It is soft and well stitched and the weight is dispersed evenly across, which is great because we have had other blankets that end up uneven because the stitching was bad. Seeing the results with my son, my husband and I have decided to get one for ourselves. Am so thrilled with this 12 pound weighted blanket.

I am very pleased to say I received this weighted blanket in exchange for an honest review. I was not sure about the weight, however honestly this 12 lb blanket is actual perfect. It is not too heavy, just enough weight to contour to your body when covered with it. The stitching appears to be well done and strong. Each pocket is individually sewn to separate the glass beads in each square. When u cover up I like that all of the beads do not roll to one side....it is a good even coverage. The microfiber is very soft. I honestly have slept much better while using it. So happy to have this blanket!

The 12 lb. weighted blanket by Pur Serenity is great for some people, not so much for others. It is 48x71" and weights are actually glass beads and the blanket itself is 100% polyester. The Good: The moment I covered up I felt like I was being snuggled inside a Christmas stocking. (Yes, that was my 1st thought.) I am a 'mover' in bed, constantly tossing and turning, waking up as tired as when I went to bed and I immediately felt calmer and had no desire to move. The Bad: I use a CPAP machine and when I was covered by the blanket I felt as though I couldn't get enough air. I had previously read that people with severe lung problems and those who use a CPAP/BIPAP probably shouldn't use one, so that's on me. I moved the blanket away from my chest and was fine after that. The I Don't Know: I suffer from RLS (Restless Leg Syndrome) and my legs 'run marathons' when I'm in bed. I found my legs weren't in constant motion (mine wake me several times a night), so that allowed me to rest better. However, after I got up, I noticed both feet were tingling a LOT, almost like they were asleep and it was about 3 hours before it stopped. My suggestion is that you should do some research on weighted blankets and make sure you know if they're right for you. My daughter, who suffers from insomnia, laid on my bed yesterday afternoon and covered up with the blanket and was sleeping soundly within 10 minutes! THAT makes the blanket a godsend for her and could be the same for others who suffer from insomnia.
