It takes a small amount for a wash load, it cleans wonderfully, and fabric softener is not needed in washing or drying! It saves time and money. I highly recommend this to you as a friend of mine did me. Unscented too! What could be better? Works in all temps and in all washers.

Ordered this because I needed to find an unscented detergent that works well with our softened water. It is refreshing to be able to do laundry without being attacked by all the fragrances. If the bottle lasts as long as it claims it will have been worth the price. I got the biggest bottle I could find but the largest size was out of stock and would have been a better value. My extended family uses the powder version with hard water but for some reason powder detergents don't seem to effectively clean with our soft water and top loader with agitator washer combination.

I wash woolen items in my top loading wash machine with Charlie's Soap.

Great natural detergent that works well.

The good is, this stuff cleans clothes! The bad is, the unscented has a definite odor and it is not pleasant. I even tried using different amounts thinking maybe I used too much. But every load smelled the same. I will finish off what I have because it is pricey. However, I would not buy this again or recommend it to a friend if they are looking for unscented.

I faithfully used this product over the last couple of years and is very disappointed to find out the Company changed the formula. The old bottles did NOT have Eye Irritant. Now the Company changed the formula causing not only an eye irritation but I noticed I have a slight itch from using this detergent. Moving on from another once great product that has been taken victim to inflation or greed or a little of both.

Noticed that my hands were burning when I went to move the laundry from the washing machine to the dryer after using this for the first time. The clothes also smelled awful, as if I had soaked them in bleach. Had to wash them twice with another detergent. I have never had a fragrance-free detergent do this before. I followed the instructions on the bottle, so I know I didn't use too much.
