Wife approved. I'm very utilitarian, meaning I use whatever gets the job done. That makes me a terrible reviewer, since I would give military issue toilet paper packets (it's a step above newspaper folded in to a 1"x2" foil packed compressed package) 4 stars because it get the job done. My wife however... She has a sensitive backside. The GV brand was acceptable to her, got Charmin as a substitute and it's better. Better enough I can't go back (not worth the hassle it causes). So yeah, wife approved.
Goldilocks would tell you it’s just right. Every point - the paper is a good balance between texture and serviceability. Roll size and price point work out to having a lot of tissue stored in a small space that actually last until you’re ready to reorder. The product is consistent over time. I’d had trouble with some brands running a different type of paper every month. For my balance of price and quality - it’s the superior fit
Tired of charmin being like "it's 6 roles in 1", but then they just make the paper shorter so that people with big hands have a hard time. Same thing with the wave shaped ply. Someone needs to sit this CEO down and remind him that it's toilet paper. Stop with the gimmicks.
when I buy the smaller packages, the tissue is soft, thick and sufficient. But upon receiving this larger package, it's not the same and I'm unhappy about that. What I bought is not what I got in return. Spending more money for less value. Not sure if a photo will show, but I will edit if so.
When this first came into the scene, it beat out every other brand, hands down. Then greed came onto the scene and they started cheapening it. They made it smaller, cutting off inches and calling it just as good. It WAS the thickest, softest, strongest toilet tissue I had ever used and I was SOLD. Gone was all the berries left over on your backside which was GLORIOUS. Today, it is THIN and of course more expensive. Instead of using a ROUND, SMALL core, they are using brown paper and to continue the illusion you are getting something more, they made the core twice the size though NO dispenser has EVER gotten bigger. You constantly have to try to reshape the core so it rolls instead of wobbles. There is one saving grace and that is that it is still leaving less mess than the other brands. But the second I find one that doesn’t, I will gladly leave this and spend my money elsewhere. From 650 sheets in the 60s on a regular sized roll to being gaslit in the 2000s to believe that 284 sheets is a “Mega” roll. What we are paying a PREMIUM for is in FACT a smaller roll than the standard size 60yrs ago. WHY ARE YOU LYING AND RIPPING OFF THE CONSUMERS? I am HAPPY to support a company that is honest and just provides a quality product at a competitive price. I would prefer to never have to change brands…but photo evidence does NOT LIE. Lies and deception…it is all you do today and I despise you for it. Charge the consumer MORE, cheapen the product but keep it under the same heading, making people THINK they are getting something special/quality, and pocket MILLIONS based on your lies. A REGULAR roll of TP in the 60s = 650 sheets (and two ply was not even necessary) and a regular roll in the 2020s = 71 sheets. You are terribly disgusting in your deception and I wonder how many others have noticed this.
Charmin is great and worthy of 5 star rating but the packing by Walmart was a zero!! Charmin was stuffed into a too small box and the rolls of paper were squished!! The holes in the center of the rolls were oblong instead of round like they should be!
This is NOT the SUPER MEGA rolls! If you order this, they will ship you MEGA XL instead, but at the same price. FALSE ADVERTIZING. You think you are paying a fair price for the larger size, 363 sheet per roll. Instead, you are paying the same price for a smaller roll of 330 sheets per roll. I ordered Super Mega Rolls. Photos are what was delivered.
I don't understand why people can't use some common sense when packaging. I shouldn't have to go through six cases of juice when I order them and they arrive completely busted open and I have to start taping boxes together. This happens every time and it's absolutely ridiculous!
I have no complaint with the product. It's the delivery and non response to a follow up help request. The order was not delivered per the instructions on the order. It was left in an unsecured place and this item was stolen or just plain not delivered. It's not a $5.99 item so I would like it delivered to my door or my money refunded.
It is supposed to be a bag of 18 rolls but there are only 17 in the bag and the bag is sealed! I am not content with purchasing this .
