My absolute favorite African ingredient for infused hair oils. It leaves my hair feeling so soft, healthy, and strong. It's extremely messy but worth learning the different ways to use daily when infused in a homemade oil. After buying it in this form, I probably won't ever pay for the overpriced pre mixed versions again.

Needs better packaging. Chebe powder in taped ziplock bag inside the original packaging on the online site.

I have 4C kinky hair so I wanted to find a moisturizer that can hold the moisture in my hair. I ordered this chebe powder after watching the video in about women with long hair. The recipe I did was a little bit of water, my honey-leave in moisturizer from Camille rose and the chebe powder. I raked it through my hair and twisted it up. 3 days later I did the same thing only this time I spritz rice water to my hair. Now today is wash day and my hair feels so soft, smooth, and looks shiny. The reason why I note that's it's the chebe powder working is because I used the honey leave in + twisting cream that worked for a couple of days before feeling dry again. A little bit of powder was in my hair but it wasn't that noticeable. Anyway I would recommend this product for my kinky/coils hair friends.

I only gave this 5 stars because of the benefits of chebe powder for my hair. But the packaging was not as expected it was in a tiny zip lock bag inside of the packaging in the photo. This was my first time using chebe and I really wanted it to be in a bigger bag.

First time purchasing... My understanding is that it is supposed to be the color of dirt. This looked more like grass and dirt - it was more green than brown.....

First off, I have ordered the Miss Sahel Chebe before but never this product. It came in the packaging that you see above but inside that package was a ziplock bag filled with powder that in no way resembled the Miss Sahel powder I had ordered previously. Was afraid to use it and tossed it.
