Checkers Rally's Fully Cooked Seasoned Chicken Bites, Frozen, 28oz

In general, people probably don't know that Pensacola, FL has no Checkers restaurants anymore. While this is not really heartbreaking, we really did enjoy their Chicken Bites and Fries on occasion. While we've been able to get the frozen version of the fries for quite some time, we have no been able to get the Chicken Bites previously. Just like the frozen fries, these are true to the Checker's brand, tasting just like they do when you get them from the restaurant. We're very happy with these and only wish they were just a little less expensive.

You really need to heat these up in the oven if you don't like a slightly mushy texture. Make sure your rack is on the upper side of the middle so they get crispy. That, or use the broiler on each side for the last few minutes. We eat them with ranch dressing as a dip.

the bag isn't even really half full. once divided in half its enough for one person serving if it's a main, if it's snacking 2 people can share and feel like they got enough. taste is ok doesn't taste like any chicken I've ever gotten out of a checkers but that's about average for the frozen products. value doesn't equal quantity quality is ok.

It may taste better when fried…. My review is when heating in an air fryer. There's something about the texture… I can't put my finger on it exactly but I'd call it spongy. It isn't terrible and if given it as an option I'd still probably eat a few, but honestly I'd rather have a whole chicken bits nugget vs some “I'll trust that it is actually chicken” version such as this.

These aren't horrible, but there is practically no meat inside them. They're about the size of a medium marble. Flavor is okay. Kids might like them, but I find it hard to justify the price. In comparison to other frozen chicken products that are rubbery, these are still better.

Did not taste good at all. Very rubbery unlike white meat and felt undercooked. Would not recommend or buy again. Very different from the real Checkers/Rallys chicken...

i ordered two bags of these and recieved one in my pick up order so i should get refunded for one because i received one not two other than that my pick up was decent

The Nuggets are very small very little meat. The seasoning outside is good. The texture is spongy. It doesn't seem like it's all white meat. It's more like a compressed meat. I would not recommend and I definitely would not buy again.

The size and texture was a bit weird to me.. Not seasoned like their fries, very bland flavor. I would not recommend these. Although toddlers and small children might enjoy them.
