I am a Cheerios cereal eater for the past 20 years ! Recently, I read a research article about colon cancer caused by eating the processed, supplemented soluble fiber, Inulin powder. You can find the research article here: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/39131148/. My question to manufacturer is that does Cheerios contain any Inulin? do you supplement any processed inulin powder with your product? Thanks
I usually consume about one and a half cups of Cheerios at breakfast. Measurement of glucose levels two hours after breakfast generally is in the normal range or in the low end of pre diabetic levels
I love this product. I use them in place of croutons. I mix them with seasme stick, mixed nuts, and raisins as my own trail mix, and of course I eat them for breakfast and have for years. As a child I said and I still laughingly tell others that they give me GOOOOO Power. I also really like the honey nut protein Cheerios. That being said My favorite is the original Cheerios and probably always will be.
I have been eating Cheerios for 40+ years in the USA. As a retired person with lots of kids in my family overseas (Greece) I am so unhappy that the Original Cheerios is nit available anywhere in Europe. Why??? Would you please explain to us expats why nit making plain good old oats available in Cheerios for the population of Europe as you do in the U.S.? Why is Cheerios in the U.S. gluten free (plain oats) while Cheerios in Europe are nit gluten free? Are children in Europe not important enough when it comes to their health? Yes, we know it's is actually CPW that makes them in Europe (50%GM and 50% Nestle). Ingredients not the same as in the USA yet you market the product with loads of honey and sugar as if it's the same thing. Vitamin D3 in tbe US where in the EE it is made with vitamin D. We are angry at the fact that you feel as if kids and adults in Europe deserve lots of sugars (honey) in their cereal, it is a shame that you do not give us the option of a healthy Cheerios box made of plain good old oats in Europe as you go in the U.S.

I eat Cheerios every day, a true staple in my diet. Cheerios do not make me feel like crap, and they are a breakfast that starts my day off right. Cheerios are also easy to take on the go, and are a feel-good meal, compared to the many sugary cereal options.
After enjoying Cheerios for many decades, my family and I stopped eating Cheerios when my wife learned that Tripotassium Phosphate (TKP) is an ingredient in Cheerios. I understand that TKP is generally considered safe when used in food products. This does not prove that it's without risk. Will General Mills show evidence that daily consumption of TKP has zero long-term health risks? We are disturbed by the fact that a product that has industrial applications as “detergents, water treatment, and as a dispersing agent” is added to the cereal. Does General Mills really believe that TKP has benefits in the cereal that outweigh the potential health risks?
Why did you increase the sugar and calories? Please, can you get rid of the extra sugar in the regular cheerios and reduce the calories? People can buy your other products if they want more sugar and calories. Those of us with heart issues need less sugar and less calories to keep weight off. Surely, you can manage having your basic regular product for people with medical issues like us.
What have you done to the makeup of original Cheerios? I have been enjoying this cereal for years and have chosen it because of its small amount of sugar. Now I see that sugar is the third ingredient!! I can taste the increase in sweetness and do not like the change. Are you catering to the masses who want sweet cereal? I will not buy original Cheerios anymore. So unfortunate.
This 1 star is for packaging only. (For your cereals, I'd give 5 stars.) I've no problem with your bilingual printing on the Cheerios boxes, but can't you place either language on the back of the carton rather than the "title side"? I'd much prefer to see this "title side" restored to its former design showing your logo, the name of the cereal, etc. It looks better and makes recognition easier when lined up on my shelf. Thanks.
