This is the perfect spatula for using in a cast iron skillet. I would rather use a stainless-steel turner; a plastic one is made out of recycled electronics.
Plastic accessories have replaced the sturdy metal ones we used to get with a Presto Fryer of any size, but unless you have an aversion to the sturdy lasting metal one with a solid handle, plastic now are considered superior as they do not scratch non-stick interior of pots, pans, and skillets. This is the best, not a legal handle of the oldest kind but a nice solid handle on this metal tool that can be used so many different ways in your kitchen or campfire.
Ridding my kitchen of all plastics including cooking implements. I found this slotted spoon made of metal that serves my purpose well. Though the handle is plastic it was the cooking end I was concerned about. Happy with my purchase.
I've had one that look like this since the '70s it finally worse than on one Edge and broke. it took me a while to find it was a vague description I did find it on Walmart twice now . I ordered me two more and then I ordered this one for my son recently from this particular place. not sure if it's the same place as I got my first two Replacements or not but this is very good quality. I have tried other types of tools and spatulas for frying especially things like potatoes this one fits well in my caddy on top of the cabinet top but works wonderfully. it would also fit in a drawer easily
Classic is best. This is the same as my old one, 50 years old. Best for making mashed potatoes.
Bought as a replacement for another brand I have used for a long time. My husband is pleased and uses for cooking his breakfast eggs and sausage.
My husband was using two very old spatulas that were rusty and awful but refused to give them us. I found this, bought it and he loves it!!
WE LOVE THIS PRODUCT,WORKS WELL WHEN MAKING GROUND HAMBERGER/SAUSAGE AND GREAT TO MASH SPUDS!!! LOVE THE HANDLE,GOOD GRIP!! THE ITEM CAME WRAPPED SO WELL AND EASY COMPANY TO DEAL WITH!!!
It was a little smaller than I expected
Looked like a modern knock off of an ekco spatula that my mother used back in the 1960s which is exactly what I wanted. But the blade is made of heavier gauge metal and so is less flexible than the ones I remembered. I will keep and use it anyway.
