CHEF iQ Smart Wireless Meat Digital Cooking Thermometer, Bluetooth & Wifi Enabled

My husband is the grill master of the family. He uses the instant read battery thermometers which work fine but are definitely not high tech. What to buy someone that has everything-a smart cooking thermometer. He absolutely loves this and has told everyone to purchase 1. This connected immediately to our Wi-Fi and through blue tooth/app it worked perfectly on his iPhone. He cooked steaks the first time when he used this and they were perfection. He liked the fact that he didn't have to keep opening the grill to check the thermometer. This notified him on his phone when it should be turned and when done. I am ordering the extra probes (can have a total of 3) for large grilled meals. The instructions say that the battery lasts 40 hours which is really a great thing-so far we have about 10 hours in and the charge is strong. I think that this will be a perfect wedding gift for an upcoming wedding that we are attending. M

I love to cook 👩‍🍳 but I'm always cautious when making meat or even a simple baked potato's in the oven or steak on my grill . I splurged and bought this fancy thermometer. Installing the app and pairing it with the phone was easy . All steps were clearly written out . I have used the Probe a few times so far . But my first one was a simple baked potato's in the oven . I wanted to understand how it works . You prep your potato , put it in the oven and stick the thermometer in one of the potato's . It will then connecting with your phone and tell you the internal temperature, the targeted temperature- it also will calculate how many minutes it will take to bake the potato's , i know I started with a potato but it helped me to feel more secure when using it on meat . The app has a gallery of recipes . Taking a screenshot of the Ingredients and you can go shopping to buy the supplies . So far , I'm pleased with my purchase . It's a wonderful gadget, helpful and has so much more to offer than just bring a thermometer. Yes , it is pricey but like I said it's more than just a thermometer, you are getting an online cookbook plus it will show you many items step by step . All is easy and clearly written out . Wonderful gift for any person who loves to cook abd grill

I love this thermometer. The freedom from wires is awesome. The app is amazing! Tons of recipes included. It talks and tells you when to flip the food. They thought of everything. You can choose what you are cooking and what you are cooking on, stove, grill airfryer, etc. There are pictures at various temperatures, rare to well done to choose from as well as the chef recommendation. So far, I've used it on different cuts of steak, burgers and salmon. You select how thick the cut is to accomplish the perfect temperature. I was so pleased with it I posted it on social media to share with friends and tell everyone about it. This was a great purchase!

Awesome bluetooth thermometer! Worth the investment! Load the app on your phone, place the probe in the thickest part of your meat and set the desired temp, and wait for your alert! No need to keep checking the grill or cutting open the meat! My husband does alot of smoking on the pellet grill, so he puts the meat on early in the day. Now he can mow the lawn away from the grill and check the temp at his leisure. No babysitting the grill! Im definitely going to look into ordering another probe since he frequently does a couple different meats at the same time. Product says the battery lasts about 40 hours, so we charge it in the case after use, but have not run out of batteries yet! It also charges pretty fast! Great gift idea for the griller in your life!

love, love, love this thermometer. you can set your final cook temp from the app and cook your food with the probe inserted. the charging base for it tells you when to flip your food and remove it from the heat when its done. ive compared the temp to my usual meat thermometer when it tells me to remove it from the heat and both have had the same temperatures within a few degrees of each other. this is my new go-to thermometer when making meals

This is my absolute favorite new kitchen gadget. I've been looking for a smart thermometer for a while now and when I came across this one I decided to give it a try. It definitely did not disappoint I love the app features and everything you're able to view on the app, it's a very well designed thermometer and it's very easy to use. Definitely recommend

I wanted to comment/review on what nice gift-giving package this game in. It has a beautiful cover over the box which details product very nicely (and visually appealing). I bought this for my son in law who absolutely loves to do sous vide, grill, smoke etc and he has a lot of gadgets but nothing like this. I loved that upon unwrapping it's clear what the gift is - but to me you can also tell the quality of something by how much care they take in presentation/education in packaging. This was just such a huge plus for me when I got it - because sometimes ordering online just isn't the same as shopping in a store and being able to view the product. So, if you are looking for something gift worthy - I added a few pics to show that since it's not in description. The features of this thing is pretty amazing and my SIL is super excited to experiment with it. I'll try and add his feedback asap. I could see myself giving these out for Christmas gifts for sure!

Jury is still out. Only used it three or four times but not so impressed. The meat does have to be on the thick side. I think more than an inch, like 2 inches and above.

Device: not worth the hassle. The pairing of this device to an iPhone 13 was clunky at best. It took enough time to pair every time that we never actually used the thermometer. We pair many devices and this one was the worst we have tried! Seller: Gave the run around on return. First directed me to rerun at Walmart. Walmart could not do it so back to seller. Seller was not responsive to my request to process a return. Buyer beware! Bad product and bad seller.

This was the most inaccurate thermometer I have ever owned. I cooked twice with it and then returned it. It wanted me to flip a pork butt I was smoking. Who flips a pork butt? Then when I had 10° more to go it said my cooking time was approximately 6hrs. I do not recommend this product! I was completely disappointed in it.
