I purchased the chef mate Golden cheese 6lb 10 oz can by mail. I opened the can in good condition. The cheese is a desired consistency and flavor. it tastes like it came straight from a restaurant with just the right amount of spice. I like to make nachos a lot at home. This cheese sauce was the perfect addition to my menu planning. The consistency was perfect, it was not overly salty and it heated perfectly to add to my meals, I used it for a total of 21 separate food dishes and I can't believe how well all of it came to use. A basic canned cheese that's versatile for multiple uses. I can put this on Mac and cheese or veggies and it's similar to velveeta without having to guess the consistency and play the game of adding more milk or cheese. You could add some spices and freshness to this and it would make a excellent queso. I would for sure use this at a large gathering! This review is part of a promotion and I will be inputting my opinion as to this product. At first glance of this product I wasn't sure I'd want to pay the high price. I also wasn't really impressed with the packaging since I've bought cheese sauces before and labeling is what really should caught the customers eyes. If I had seen this on the grocery shelf, I would not have stopped to take a second look at it. Now that I have had the opportunity to try the product, I have to admit that the cheese sauce is delightful. Once the package was opened I noticed that it was a thick sauce. But as it heated up it became very sauce and tasty. I not only make nachos for myself but my whole family of 5 tried it and all really enjoyed it. With that said, I would truly enjoy use this product again.
