A can opener is a pretty basic kitchen necessity. I have gone through several styles in the years since I retired my electric opener, some work better then others. I was gifted this one several weeks ago in return for using it and writing an honest review. I have been using this opener regularly, including the other day when I was making a massive batch of vegetarian chili- I opened 12 cans using this opener! It worked great, fully cutting through each lid-no missed spots. It has a magnetic lid lifter to help you remove the lid, I found this worked well on small 16 ounce cans, but lids on larger cans such as tomatoes the magnet was not strong enough to lift it out. This isn't a deal breaker for me as I usually just lift the lids with my fingers. The opener has a unique design where the handle for turning folds down flush when not in use-this allows it to fit more compactly for storage-I use a counter top carousel for storage and this fits much better then my other opener. I whole heartedly recommend this can opener!

The can opener handle can be collapsed to make it easier to store. It quickly and easily opens cans without any issues. It makes a clean and safe cut. The indigo color is very pretty.

I was gifted this item for an honest review. This is a great manual can opener. The handle is comfortable and does not hurt your fingers when opening a bunch of cans. I love the magnetic top remover. The handle lays flat in the draw so it is not so bulky. The price could be a little less in my opinion, it should be a $10 item.
