Chefman 1.7 Liter Cordless Electric Kettle with Easy Fill Removable Lid and LED Indicator, Black

Had one for years with no issues that you read about other kettles online , so bought this one for my mom .

I am in assisted living, and sometimes just want hot water from it for 15, or for a cup of noodles. This works great for that, and I have even cooked hot dogs in it! 😊

I needed something better than a small mixing bowl or my coffee cup to heat water for my French Press Coffee Pot... my daughter-in-law told me about this, as she already has one and loves it ... ordered it right away... thank you daughter-in-law for recommending it...

This is a replacement kettle for a very old Sunbeam electric kettle I'd been using for almost 20 years. I really like the look of this kettle and find it very pretty. It doesn't boil water as quickly as I'd like, but that's only because I live at high altitude so it messes with boiling point.

Nice inexpensive clear kettle that boils FAST and is easy to clean with a removable top. I had a different brand before ($95) which was metal with a tiny opening - there was no way to scrub it out. If you can't clean it then it grows mold etc. For under $20 this one is an easy use easy clean winner!

This product overall is fantastic. I really like the design, ease of it. I personally had a problem when i first used it. when i had boiled the jettle for the 1st time, Due to my well water, it had created a crust from the minerals on the heating element. for which I did get it removed by baking soda and vinegar. to prevent that to happen again I just buy gallons of water to use in the kettle instead of tap water.

Drinking my first cup of peppermint tea and I LOVE this tea pot!! I can't believe I didn't discover this amazing way to boil water earlier in life. I hate using my stove and I have destroyed many pots by putting them on to boil and then walking away. This one turns itself off when the water is ready!!! I highly recommend it to everyone!! The fact that it was an amazingly affordable price is just icing on the cake! Thank you Chefman!

The first one I received when I arrived had obviously been opened, used or returned. I asked the coach (Damon) and at first he told me that is was not returned, then he told me he wasn't sure...lol. Thats not a very good answer...I was looking for honesty and he is managment. It was resolved when we went to an aisle and got one that appeared new and unopened. So far the unit is working great. It is too early to report quality but so far so good.

So, this kettle does the job. I've had it now for a few months and when I first got it, it was super fast, like 2-3 minutes to heat up a full kettle. Now, its closer to 10 minutes. Additionally, its started making a whistling sound. It's not terrible but its lost it's fire.

I am handicap, my movement is not good, I need my coffee in the morning so I leave water sitting in it overnight, the inside of the kettle develops spots on the bottom,I don't like that, it's like it crystallize on the bottom, so I need to empty it out or wash it before I can use it
