I'm a tea drinker and always used a kettle on the stove. My kettle finally wore out and I decided to try this little electric one. I put the water in, click the button and within a minute or less, boiled water! I love its speed and that it shuts itself off once the water boils. Because it is so fast, I can use it to boil water if I need some while I'm cooking, to make quick broths, or add more water to a dish that won't lower the temperature in the pan. Great little appliance!

I’ve been using the same kettles for a long time ever since an Irish guy brought one into work because he like to have tea all day. I could not believe how fast they boiled the water. So now I use one every single day to make my coffee and tea at work. The pour over coffee tastes way better. And by using a reusable stainless steel sieve I’m saving a ton of money and I’m not getting any plastics in my coffee from any of those nasty machines.

The 1 liter works like a champ. I've used the 1.8 liter for years. Total workhorse. I much prefer the top and the on/off switch on the 1.8 liter. Both designs on the 1 liter are different, feel less sturdy, less user friendly. If I could redo the purchase, I'd buy the larger unit.

This boils water faster than you can in the microwave. You just have to be careful to keep the water at the recommended water level, it will boil over. It's great for making tea, heating water for other uses. The base stays on the counter and you can carry to pot around as you need to, not worrying about a cord hanging on.

Product is very cheap and fragile, must be handled with very delicate care. Customer service sucks they do not have any type of warranty of this type of issue if kettle glass breaks. Its very easy to leak and pour hot liquid in to hand as well the way it smade.

It leaks. At first I thought I had over filled the pot. Next time I made sure it didn't go over the .5lt. I am planning in returning it but I have not had the chance to do it. I'm going to look for the instructions on how to return it. I really liked it because I need something like that .

I wanted to love this thing (and a properly functioning one would be awesome), but no matter how little or how much water you put in this kettle, it boils over and rockets scalding liquid out the spout %26 all over your countertop. And lord help you if you happen to be in the line of fire! Long story short, this thing sucks and it's messy at best %26 dangerous at worst. It's going back to WM.

A strainer is attached on a hinge on the BOTTOM of the LID??!!? , making it hard to put the lid on since you have to line it up just right or you push the strainer back and it is a pain to wash %26 dry as it flips around easily. The glass is much thinner than the one I ordered earlier this year. So sorry I dropped that pitcher, as it didn’t have a screen attached to the lid AND had much thicker glass
