I decided to give this air fryer a try to see how it stands up to the old one we had with the racks and tumbler basket. This one looks great right out of the box. It's the solid door model, not the glass one and I really like the two large nine‑quart baskets. Plenty of room to cook real food, not just snacks. Mid‑day while working in the kitchen, I tossed a few fries in, set it for 15 minutes at 400°. I like that it has a shake reminder halfway through. It pauses, lets you flip or toss the food, then picks right back up when you slide the baskets back in. The fries came out with a nice light crunch. Another five minutes would’ve made them extra crispy. How much food you put in definitely affects the texture, so that’s something to play with. I do wish it came with a small cookbook or guide for times and temps. Every air fryer cooks a little different, so right now it’s a learning curve. Nothing wrong with Googling it as long as you look up your exact model. It has several modes Air Fry, Bake, Dry, Frozen, plus a 2 minute button and a Keep Warm feature. Overall, it’s a great item at a decent price that really makes your food pop. Load it, set your time and temp, and walk away. Saves you from standing over a hot stove after a long day.
I like this Chefman 9Quart Turbo Fry Duel Basket Air Fryer. It has 4 Cooking Functions and is very easy to operate. I cooked crispy fries and tots to try it out. Makes very good and crispy food fast. This is my first Air fryer and this is a fantastic Model to start out. It has 2 Large Baskets each with its own Controls. I will be using this often and trying many different dishes from it. Thank you for your time.
My son has been asking for an air fryer. He loves French fries and chicken nuggets. This air fryer is very attractive. I love the baskets and being able to cook at two different temps/times. I bought liners to make cleanup even easier.
Two Large baskets with dual or coordinated heating. Makes food come out crispy with less oil usage. Nice alternative to using the deep fryer frequently. To be honest short of having two full size ovens a big air fryer like this can help supplement some of that room for food preparation. Great for preparing fresh food or reheating leftovers. Really nice air fryer, very modern. It says you can make a rotisserie in here but I haven't tried that option just yet.
I bought this air fryer and honestly it really makes cooking easier . The first thing I made was fries in one basket and fish in the other just added a little oil and everything turned out crispy and very tasty . I like the large basket and how juicy the food stays . The preheating function is convenient , and the recipe book gives good ideas . Cleaning is simple , no smells stay . Food cooks quickly and evenly . Very happy with this purchase .
this is my favorite kitchen appliance! I love the two sides' even though I'm a little more familiar with a basket that comes out of the other piece I absolutely love this style. I can cook two different items at two different temperatures at the same time timer set on either one lights individually on either one. it makes such delicious food perfect vegetables and crispy chicken! I highly recommend this if you like to cook.
This is a Very Large air fryer, especially for a family. I didn't realize how big it would be but should have known for the large 9 quart capacity. It will do great for 1 or 2 course meals. It has a window where you can see your food cooking, which is really nice. It is easy to use, and I have to compare it to my current air fryer to make sure I list what it has. It goes all the way up to 450 degrees which my current frier does not, which is great for getting food crispy. If you only have one meal, you can do that too. The only thing missing that I liked is that it doesn't give you quick access buttons for cooking certain foods. Buttons you can push specifically for bacon or fries and heating options such as Bake, Broil, Reheat or keep warm. Maybe now since air frying has been around longer, people don't need that, but I still do and would have liked that. That being said, it is a nice appliance and easy to clean. This is especially nice for a family or someone who loves to cook. Again, it is large and takes up a big space on the counter, but if you have the room and love to cook, it might be for you. It is all black and I would have preferred a stainless one to match my other appliances, but it will still blend in well.
I absolutely love this air fryer! The dual baskets are super convenient I can cook two different foods at the same time without mixing flavors. It heats up quickly and everything comes out crispy and evenly cooked. The controls are easy to use, and I like that it has multiple cooking functions. It’s also a great size for family meals and saves me so much time in the kitchen. Cleanup is simple, which is a big plus. Definitely worth it and I would recommend it!
This air fryer is very large. I like how you can cook in both sides, simultaneously. I reheated fried chicken and it did fantastic. I did find that the start/stop button didn’t respond to touch a few times and the basket drawers don’t slide as smoothly as I would like, which makes me think that it won’t hold up over time. But we will see…
It doesn't work. I tried the dehydrator first. I sliced apples super thin and set it to 140° after 14 hours still barely done. So I tried the bake feature and it didn't even get hot. Same thing with air fryer. I'm very disappointed. I was really excited about this.
