Chefman Rapid-Boil 1.8L Electric Tea Kettle w/ Keep Warm and Tea Infuser - Stainless Steel

I really like this water pot! It's large enough to keep me from running to the faucet frequently. The diffuser allows me to try some special teas or teas in a bag. It keeps the water warm for an hour and the colored lights tell me what it's doing! I think the directions about the diffuser could be more detailed with possibly a small illustration. Once I figured it out, no problem, easy to use....but I am 76 years old! Someone younger, I am sure, would have no problem figuring it out. I like this water pot very much and highly recommend it.

Nice machine, but I ordered on the Walmart app and I definitely received someone else’s return. Surprisingly my package came from Walmart in a Walmart box but had someone else’s return slip from Macys inside, including their information and receipt for returning this item.

This Chefman water heating unit is great for making hot tea and coffee. After adding water to the container, you press the start lever and a red LED lights up and whenever the water has reach boiling temperature it the LED turns to green which means it will maintain the water temperature. But when you left the water container off the base electric station, it will turn off. This is best for making tea or coffee because it maintains the temperature when making tea or coffee to provide the desired strength of the beverage. It is well made and provides exactly what’s required for a great cup of tea or coffee at anytime.

This is my second one. I use it exclusively for making ginger tea. My first one I use for my morning coffee. This system saves time and makes my life easier.

I Love this kettle! it heats up faster than my Tea Keetle for the stove. plus I haven't accidentally burnt my fingers . And thr light change indicating when the water is fully boiled ia vwry helpful. I havent tried the twa infuser yet, But im looking forward to it teal soon.

Our family loves it because it has lighting inside that is visible through the glass that indicates when it's ready or when it's boiling the water. It is very quiet too. Compared to our last one. The only thing thats weird is on traditional tea pots the top lid comes off, and this one has that feature too but if its hot and you need to take that lid off, its potential for a serious burn. So, I would caution NOT to touch the lid when the teapot it hot. Overall its great, quiet, and boils fast! We love it!

Product arrived as described and not broken. I figured reviews are 50/50; so here's my 50. PRO: I like the product. works as intended. CON: i get a white powder type covering the bottom of my kettle. Not sure what it is. At first, i thought it was me, so i rewashed the kettle again and boiled another pot. Surprise it's not me. Then i guess it was the water type i'm using, as i prefer spring water, same "white powder residue". tried again, washed boiled another pot using alkaline water, same residue. I don't use tap water bc i have a well system. In the end the residue for me, isn't an issue and it's washable for use. I like the product. YES Recommend. HONEST REVIEW 6/30/25.

I guess I went for the low price model and all it does is boil water, then keep it at that temp until you take it off the power trivet. A better more expensive model has different temp settings, more in keeping for the proper steeping of teas, Boiling teas is usually not recommended.

After only a few months of use, and has only been used less than 15 times, the there is a metal piece inside the kettle that is rusting, which leaks rust into the water.

It lasted a month before the handle melted and we had to sleep in the car because of the fumes. All doors and windows of my home had to be open 24 hours to get most of the burned plastic smell out. It’s a very toxic noxious odor and the walls reeked of the odor for a few days. This unit is dangerous. Don’t even go to the restroom while the unit is on. But better yet, get a stainless steel one instead…not one with plastic parts that are against hot parts. This was a very scary incident and imagine that I would not be writing this if I had gone to bed with this unit still plugged in.
