It heats up in no time you can control the heat of the water inside. I love it it does it take a burner up so I can cook dinner and still have my hot tea heard my little boys have been going crazy making hot chocolate because it's so easy my kids can use it. And it is very safe to use with a large handle so the kids can use it easily. I highly recommend chefs choice Gormezza 1.7L Cordless electric kettle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very good product, we have grandkids that come over and they eat a lot of soup and noodles, we fill up the kettle and it heats up very fast. I like the Temperature gauge in the front. You can lift the kettle up and not worry about a power cord and the base swivels for when you put it back. The on off switch is especially nice, it turns off when it gets to temperature.

This kettle has a really sleek and modern design, which makes it a great decoration on my counter, since it will be used frequently. My one word of caution is that it is a little large, so if you have limited counter space you might want to opt for a smaller device. It is a great size though for families and people who need hot water a lot :)

I verified the temperature gauge to see if it was accurate and it was within 5 degrees. It quickly heats the water and maintains the temperature for a short period of time.

Inside is stainless steel, it doesn't spit at all. Easy to use! It doesn't steam a lot since it has long nose. I like it!

I am used to heating water in a kettle on the stove and constantly waiting to hear the whistle. With this new kettle I simply plug it in, add water and turn it on. I really like that this kettle itself is not wired and I can take it into any room for serving and then return it back to the base for heating. The built in temperture gauge is a very nice feature not often found on basic stove top kettels although I would like the numbers to be larger and easier to read. Overall this is a great product I would highly recommend to anyone.
