[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been looking for years to find a good knife sharpener for my kitchen knives. The problem is that most of the products available just aren't that good. However I found the Chef's Choice 270 and finally found the sharpener I'd been looking for. It is compact with both electric and manual sharpeners. There is a "system" to its use and angled guides to keep the blade at exactly the proper angle. You don't have to be a professional knife sharpener to get professional results. I recommend the Chef's Choice 270 without reservations. REMEMBER: a sharp knife is a safe knife.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sharpener is quite durable. It's easy to use. It works on both straight blades and serrated edged knives. It does not sharpener scissors. It does a really good job. You just have to take your time. There are multiple steps to getting it sharpened.

But once I got this electric sharpener my knives gotten alive!!! They still working perfect as new!! I'm so surprised how good it works.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sharpener worked great to sharpen a couple knives that needed it. It's a powered table top device that sits pretty well on the table. It is a bit bulky with a shorter cord so you might need to place it strategically if you don't have a close by outlet. You will definitely have to have to read the instructions a couple times to really get how the sharpener works as it is not really intuitive. Once you do it does sharpen really well though! I have to say they might be sharper now than when I bought them! It is only for your typical double-sided chef's knife any single sided or Sanko style will need to use a different type of sharpener so watch out for that.

I usually just threw out my old knife set and would buy new, but I really love the set I have now and wanted to try resharpening them. This sharpener is so easy to use and much quieter than I expected. It made all my favorite knives super sharp again and they're all like new shiny! I feel dumb now for just throwing away old knives instead of getting and using one of these!

So when I got this sharpener I was so excited and tried it right away. This worked really well at getting all my knifes even my serrated knifes sharper. It was so easy to use and it has a 3 step system to it or more like a 2 step and than a buffer at the end.

It does a incredible job and those knives come out nice and sharp. Really easy to use and slides perfectly. Completely worth it! Makes getting the job done quick

You dont realize how much easier your knifes work when they are sharp. Now that I have sharpened every one of my knifes, scissors, and two heavy duty nail groomers I am absolutely going to get some to give as gifts! Great Idea for Fathers Day!! Easy to use and can be packaged back up and put away easily when not in use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really do like this knife sharpener. It can handle a multitude of brands. It really does give the knife a really good edge. It can have a loud sound when a times, but for the most part it runs quiet.
