I've had my Chemex for 9 months now. It is my favorite brewing method. I'm very particular about clean brewing devices and this one is easy to clean (unlike machines). There is a difference in taste using the Chemex filters compared to other cone filters. I liked this so much, I purchased a second one for my office.

Easy to use and good quality. First time making pour over coffee. I used to make coffee with a French press. Elevate Peet's to the next level. Still good and strong but somehow even more smooth than other methods.

Good size for one or two people; the wood collar is well-made, as is the leather strap.

I purchased the Chemex coffee maker because it has no plastic. It is easy to use and makes delicious coffee. It seems fragile but has held up well. It's a little annoying having to remove and then replace the wood collar for washing but it's important so you don't burn your hand when pouring. Overall a great purchase and good size for 2 cups of coffee.

I lost my enthusiasm about trying this because the filter I ordered did not ship so I could not try it.
