Chemex 8-Cup Classic Series Glass Coffeemaker

The Chemex Pour over coffee make is easy to use. You do have to be careful that you don't touch the glass when the coffee has just been made because it will be hot. Sometimes I do miss having a handle on the carafe. All things considered, I am pleased with my purchase.

This is my second Chemex - my first was purchased in the 1970's and had a bit of an accident. We tried other methods - French Press has always been a back up. But we decided to replace it and we are very glad.

Wow! This thing really makes great tasting coffee! Watched the video and will work on technique but I'm impressed!

Was I even drinking real coffee before purchasing this pour over coffee maker? I don't think so! My mornings have shifted from oh I have to make my coffee to, oh I get to make my coffee!

Love the shape filter and outcome of this coffee process. The coffeemaker came with an ad for a version with a handle which would have been preferable. This is a bit hard to handle when hot.

Makes the best coffee ever. I bought this to replace one I'd had for 20 years. I broke the one I had and needed a replacement.

Chemex is my absolute favorite way to make coffee. It works perfectly every time. No odd buttons or gears or things that stop working like they should. Also beautiful! Love it.

Very aesthetic and love how the coffee looks while dripping and scrolling it around the glass is very clean. I don't like how the leather wears out and the finishing on the wood wears out when washing with dish washing soap nonetheless, I love using it almost every day.
