I was pretty skeptical about this product but no more. It has passed my testing stages. I washed and entire load of only microfiber goods along with my wash mits just to see how good this stuff really is. After 3 capfuls of product with warm water the results were fantastic. They were nice and clean and soft and the towels I had used to clean the nasty door jams had atleast 70-75% of the stains removed on them. Do not go in thinking this will magically remove every single stain because that is not its purpose...I can designate those towels for that specific job but all of the others that were used to buff wax or polish off the paint came out in excellent shape. Another interesting feature is the smell. It is not a strong citrus smell, it is a nice clean brand new towel smell. That just shows that there is truth in this product when they say it does not contain softeners or fragrances that can clog up pores in microfiber goods. I would also recommend using the air dry setting or the low heat when you dry microfiber goods. Also buy the gallon size of microfiber wash. I'm sure the 16oz. will last at-least 8-10 more washes but I'm sure the gallon size would last a lifetime of non frequent use.
I use this product for my microfiber towels (only the interior, body and glass towels - anything for the tires/wheels is basically a lost cause so I use my oldest towels for those). From trial and error, I also only wash my towels together (don't mix in your regular laundry or you may make your significant other angry when everything smells like wax). The product works so well, I've started adding a cap full to every load of laundry I do. It has a nice lemon scent. I also have a diluted bottle in my bathroom as a toilet cleaner. This stuff works AWESOME! No joke...
Bought this product a while back and finally got around to using it. It did a fantastic job of cleaning a whole bucket of microfiber towels that were used for all sorts of car work from cleaning wheels to applying protectants. They emerged from the dryer both soft and free of any sort of residue. I even threw in my car / yard work clothes as well and they look great as well. Definitely recommended.
I do not have a lot of microfiber so it is silly for me to wash three towels seperatly. I put one capful of microfiberwash with a half gallon of water and soaked my dirtiest microfiber towels from my wheels and let them soak 1-3 hours. Do not know how long. They all were perfectally clean. rinsed them twich and hung them outside. I can now do the other towels seperatly as recomended by Chemical Guys,. One or three towels at a time.
I have been using this product for over a year and I love it. This products makes my fiber towels last. I own a detail company, my towels see it all but regardless of what gets on my towels the fiber wash makes them new again. What I love most, I dilute this product. One gallon makes three gallons for me and works just as well as not diluted.
I have used Microfiber wash for over a year, hundreds of towels have been washed with the gallon I purchased, my expensive detailing towels come out super soft and clean. does agreat job on the heavy use microfiber towels too, pre soak them before washing on the really dirty ones works best,
I have been struggling to find a good microfiber wash. I was using Griot's, but was not happy with the stain removal and plush rejuvenation abilities. Having switched all my detailing products over to CG, I decided to pick some of this stuff up. I am beyond happy with how this workedt. All my towels feel and look brand new! Even my towels that I only use for heavy grease and grime areas, such as undercarriage and wheel wells, which have turned all the towels black, are not 100% clean! If you use premium microfiber towels, this stuff is a must!
I used it by two ways (washing machine and manually) and it works great for microfiber towels. But when i tried to wash my microfiber applicators by washing machine, the remained wax doesn't go off ! I pre-soaked the applicators before washing them by machine. I tried to wash them manually (and it was really hard), the remained wax went off but the applicators are still stained (but of course it's able to be used again). We need a video from CG about cleaning microfiber applicators, perhaps i used the microfiber wash by wrong way for the applicators !
After washing microfiber towels with a plain, no softener or scent store-bought laundry detergent with fair results, I thought I'd try something more focused on the job of washing microfiber towels to see what would happen. Most important, I followed the directions as far as the amount of soap (1 ounce for a small load) with a warm/warm water temp setting on the heavy duty agitation setting. Results? Cleaner towels-not spotless, but noticeably cleaner. The same results took place on my two other (dirtier) levels of towels. Improvement achieved-
Bought this to try -- I have never used any "special" detergent for my automotive microfiber towels, but had heard from others that this was a "must-do." Let's just say I am a skeptic.... Anyways, I have used this product twice now, and honestly I don't see the difference after completing the washing process between this product and using regular HE detergent in my front-loader. Will I continue to use it? Sure. Do I regret purchasing? Nah. Happy with the product, and feel the price was reasonable.
