Works really well on really yellow headlights. May have to a apply a couple of times and buff well with clith but it does the job. Then reapply every 6 months and they will continue to look good. Makes a big difference in the overall look of the vehicle.

Amazing product

Caroline August 30, 2025

This product is amazing. My headlights were basically yellow. On the first try with no effort it completely restored my headlights to almost new. It's great

My new best go to product!

Mr Mike November 11, 2024

I have done the whole wet sanding, light abrasive method to restore my 10 year + headlights, but your product is easily the best to use with terrific results. I used a buffer and both lights came back to bright, clear and shiny. Would buy and tell anyone who asks where to get from Chemical Guys.

Worked Better Than Expected

Mark June 6, 2021

I used the headlight restorer on the headlights of my 2011 Honda Pilot. I also purchased the orange applicator pad and used it to apply the product to the lens as well as to buff the product once applied. The lens came clean after the first application and were significantly clearer after three applications. The vehicle appearance is much better. I have attached a photo of the vehicle with only the drivers headlight completed.

Really Works

Z Guy December 16, 2017

Had to use 3000 grit sandpaper as the product did not remove even light haze by itself. However, it took the dull haze from the sandpaper to like new clear glass. Polished easily by hand. I was able to take Arizona desert sun beaten yellow lenses to like new in just a few minutes. Highly recommend.

Quick and easy

Adam August 28, 2021

Tried a few other products in the past. Wasn't super happy with them. This stuff went on easy, wiped clean and has a factory crystal clear lense again. They were pretty bad, so I ended up doing 3 applications on them.. Super happy, will have to use this on my other car as well.

Simply Amazing Headlight Restoration Product!

Nach July 12, 2017

What is this sorcery?!?! I bought this product for my wife's headlights which are 10 years old. Thinking I would need a two step sanding to get the lenses clear again, I bought the sanding block and sand "paper" too. Reading about this newer product further, I attempted to just use it solo first to see what it could accomplish. In a matter of 5 minutes of elbow grease, I had restored clarity to the lenses!! WOW! Even she was shocked at how well this worked. Now this wouldn't remove any surface scratches; however, the clarity is night and day difference. If you're looking for a complete restoration, I would invite you to use some wet sanding, followed by this product. If you're looking to just brighten up the lenses to near brand new clarity, then this product alone will do the trick!

I was surprised and now thankfull.

Mark Capó May 21, 2017

Bought the small bottle thinking that was maybe a regular product just like others out there, but man I was wrong. Simple application, and amazed on final results. My headlights probably weren't that bad, but this is my new favorite product from CG. Pictures don't do justice, but you will be also surprise on how easy is this product to use and the results.

Very good results

Gomesy June 26, 2018

Purchased Chemical Guys headlight restorer to try on a friend's Honda. He had used WD40, but the lights were still milky. Using my drill and fairly aggressive orange pad, I got some good results. I believe that wet sanding like ChemGuys would have enhanced the shine.
