Closest to new car scent without costing huge out of pocket. Use it weekly on carpets and anywhere you've tested for colorfastness weekly or more if needed. Run your air recirculating button after spraying with car vents on for few minutes. The scent will stay around unlike other brands. They will freeze in your car in winter so take them out. Just like your home you can become nose blind to the scent after awhile but I still get compliments how nice car smells and where sid I get it so I know it's still working. 10/10

I wanted to do a review for the ones who just bought this item. When I first opened this item and smelled it I did not smell that good new car smell and was wondering if I got the wrong stuff.After watching a few videos it all came together.After you spray it under the dashboard and open your AC on High,let the windows down for a few day's and you will smell that new car.You don't need to use much but 3 or 4 sprays As for a general umbrella term, the smell results from the release, or "offgassing/outgassing," of various volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

First, this DOES NOT smell like a new car. Those smells come from VOCs that would probably invite the interest of the EPA if you could actually concentrate them and bottle it. What it does smell like is...NOTHING. I can only describe it as the closest thing to "neutral" that I've ever smelled. And it does a great job of absorbing, not masking, other smells and making the whole car smell "neutral." I even tried it on a particularly nasty garbage can and it worked pretty well. The closest I can come to describing it is some sort of plastic smell combined with some sort of alcohol smell. To me, it smells exactly like Chemical Guy's Leather Conditioner product. I have a feeling all the reviews are entirely a matter of taste, and not all of us smell exactly the same things the same way. I think the "neutral" scent adds to that -- nobody can make out what it is. Try the small bottle and see what you think.

Great sense for those looking for a professional smell that lingers. One spritz is more than enough to change the mood of the entire ride.

I love the “new scent” of this spray, I used it on my cabin filter to circulate throughout my car to get a dusty smell out and it worked like a charm

Great smell, love it. Both bottles I got however had a loose lid. The first bottle I got leaked out entirely into my car door. I got a second bottle and double checked it was tightly on and it would have leaked too. Other than that the smell is great

All of chemical guys scents smell great and are creative but the problem is they don't last at all I sprayed about 10-12 sprays of it in my car after a good vacuuming left my car for about 5 hours came back the scent was very faint slightly noticeable and after that the next day no smell at all not even a little I guess it completely neutralized itself I like CG's scents it'd be nice if they could offer them in a super concentrated spray version or something similar to little trees or vent sticks the sprays would be a nice pairing to a hang up fragrance scent 5 stars performance/longevity 2 stars you have to use it every day to get your money's worth so spray some every time you get out your car.

Usually a new car smell is a pretty safe bet, but this one is not for me. My car smelled better due to the interior cleaning and products before a shot of CG New Car Smell. Yes it does smell of vinyl and rubber, but it's not a nice smell to me personally. After a couple days, it has mellowed out. I don't love it, I don't absolutely hate it, but there are better things out there for new car smell.

I bought this a few weeks ago and thought I'd actually get a new car smell, I bought the smallest size to test it out. It smelled more like fertilizer not a new car.
