Chemical Guys ACC_2001 Tire and Trim Contour Applicator

This product does what I'd expect from any block of foam attached to plastic. It applies dash dressing very evenly like a foam paintbrush with the added benefit of providing a barrier between the foam and your hand. I have not used it for applying tire shine as I believe there are other products that are better for that purpose. This product is excellent for it's intended purpose, evenly applying product over larger areas. Use the correct tool for each job and I believe you can get no better results.

I bought this to apply tire gel on my tires. This was perfect for the process. It stays on the foam pad and doesn't get your hands all oily. When this one is done will definitely purchase another one. Already planning to get my boys these for Christmas stocking stuffers.

The EZ-Form applicator makes applying dressings simple, fast, and neat. I no longer have to worry about dealing with messy hands like with other applicator pads. The foam pad is also very durable. Definitely recommend adding this product to your arsenal!

Very good applicator to apply products on the inside, but I liked it to apply tire conditioner.

Makes putting on tire shine so much easier and less messy if using a regular applicator with nothing to hold on to but the applicator itself.

You get what you pay for, worked really well and got plenty of uses from it. Recently the foam popped out of the casing as others have mentioned yet it seems to be repairable. For the price, it's still a deal

I've had these last a decent amount of time considering the cost. I really like these for my low profile tires or tires with out aggressive side walls. I have tried but don't like to use these on off-road tires or tires with aggressive side walls or raised lettering as the foam catches and rips from the plastic. Otherwise, good product IMOP.

There is not a large selection of tire shine applicators, these seem to work pretty well. I always have a spare ready to replace the one currently in the lineup. When they start to degrade they go quickly.

Alright, so I've used one for less than 10 times while I'm setting up at car shows. The design is great, comfortable to hold, applies a nice even layer to my tires with precise control. However, after a couple uses the foam pad will fall out making it un-useable in my eyes after hitting the ground. No point in trying to wash and reuse as well since it wont be able to stay in place as well, so I chucked it. They are cheap, but still would love to get more use out of them.

Foam applicator falls apart after using it on tires with a tire dressing application . I will not buy this again, nor do I recommend it for tires, Maybe for plastic and other tires, but not tires.
