purchased a El Camino from California that spent most of its life in the California sun. it was very sun bleached to the point I thought a paint job was the only option. BUT, after Appling your chemical compound and polish a paint job is no longer an option!

I bought this pad to use to cut thru the dull and rarely cleaned or waxed paint on a Scion xB for a family member. Used with a heavy cutting compound, I was able to remove light scratches and imperfections in one pass, compared to a microfiber cutting pad I was using that took two or three passes to do the same work. The hole in the center also worked great to keep things cool, my microfiber cutting pad had started to separate from it's backing since it was made of a softer foam with no center hole. The hex pad was like new after washing it with a pad cleaner. Definitely does what it says it does, and well worth the money.

I use this mostly for bad paint corrections on hard paint of after a wet sand. This pad will cut through almost all the scratches you could ask for.

Very good pad, does exactly what it claims. Any more aggression needed, revert to microfiber or wool.
