They say there is no one solution to removing bugs from the front of the car/grill. WRONG! This stuff magically removes all of the bugs with a little scrubbing with a microfiber pad. AMAZING.
Did a great job getting the road tar of my wifes white Focus ST. I swear she hits bugs at Mach 1 am they dig in deep. Very little scrubbing and they come right off. So far nothing until now has gotten the bug explosions off as well.
I bought the gallon jug and diluted it into a chemical guys spray bottle. I spray the front of my truck down before washing it with my foam cannon. This product works great and removed all the bugs and road grime after one soak. I recommend this to anyone who washes their car! great product Guys!
I used the 6:1 dilution in a spray bottle. It worked pretty well. Next time I may try a little bit stronger. Overall it worked very well
I put this in a spray bottle and diluted it on a vehicle that was covered in fresh oil. I spayed it on, let it sit for a bit and it melted it away like butter. This will now be a staple in our business.
Really easy to use. I just spray on the heavy bugged areas, wash the rest of the truck while the bug wash dose it's work then I come back and wipe away the bugs and tar.
Wow, this product surprised me at how well it worked. I would recommend that you soap up the heavy impacted areas of the front of the car and numbers and leave it for a few minutes. It worked great! Will be buying the larger sizes, I've shared it with my car buddies.
i have a lot of crape myrtle trees that drip and leave little yellow spots all over the paint that are very difficult to remove, i ordered the gallon size because of the price savings over the 16oz bottles. the jug i got only had about 90oz of content (well below the white label) called up CG and they corrected that. when i went to use it i did NOT dilute it at all, i poured it into one of the 16oz sprayers at full strength. i set the sprayer to a fine mist and sprayed an area with the sap spots, they immediately started to dissolve and run across the area with the B&T remover (it's very thin and runny, not thick/gel like at all), i let it sit for about 2 min and then they easily wiped away with a microfiber towel.
I went a year with out washing my truck because I'm always on the go and dislike car washes because it never cleans my truck all the way. I followed the directions and took 10 rounds before all the bugs where gone.
I've used about 1/2 of my gal container so far. I'm not impressed at all, and am only using it cause I already have it. I use this on my Vette, and also the bumber, grill and sun visor of my semi. I has had NO effect on my Vette or my semi's sunvisor. I hit the bumper and grill (on my Pete) with the 3000psi Hotsy and the bugs come...but with that psi they do anyway without the Bug and Tar Remover. If used in any type of sun or breeze, it will evaporate within a minute as it is the same consistency as water. You spray it on, and it runs off. It really needs a gelling agent like the Diablo wheel cleaner. I won't recommend it to anyone. Put a gelling agent in it so it will stay where it's sprayed, and you may be on to something. Until then, not so much
