I have used this on the black plastic on the bottom part of the car and the tires. The dressing is not too shiny but shiny enough to look sharp and clean. I like it mostly because I have washed the car 2-3 times since applying the product and it helps tremendously with road salt/dirt being removed. It was applied approx 3-4 weeks ago. I just applied it again to the tires and car to refresh the look.
I've tried several products to restore the black fenders on my jeep and none of them worked. This worked perfectly, fenders look brand new and are not oily.
got this product for Christmas and did a detail at home before we left on vacation, no sling. had people ask me at gas stations what I used. smiled and said chemical guys!
I've used it a couple times and stays on more then other brands I really love all there products I will be purchasing more
I used this with the durafoam tire dresser and the tires looked great for about three or four days with heavy driving.
I got this product inside a mystery box and I was surprised to see the v line had a tire and vinyl product so needless to say i was stoked I never tried the detail spray which i also got as well now double stoked!! cleaned tires proper diablo wheel cleaner, scrubbed, wiped, no nonsense, scrubbed, wiped. applied v7 let sit wiped excess reapplied not the greatest shine but not the worse. What i got what a bit streaky even tho i wiped evenly. waited a day reapplied let sit now its a bit more of the wet look. honestly i felt let down as far as the great reviews of hybrid v7 spray got the tire shine could use a bit more tweaking. My favorite tire product has to be silk and shine i prefer a more fresh clean look.
I had given the review of this product a few weeks or months ago. I really didnt give it a chance. So in order to be fair i wanted to come back now that i used it a little more. It goes on very easy, with a good tire applicator. Little goes a long way. It looked great as i finished up. Over all look was 10 out of 10 on my tires. Unfortunatly it snowed the next day and didnt get to wash the salt and dirt off the car for a few days later. When i did tho product did not hold up at all. I cant wait to try in summer with dryer weeks
I bought this product to work with my swabby tire applicator. It's a little thick for my tastes and I wish it had a little more shine. If you like the satin look it's perfect.
I absolutely love Hybrid V7 but the tire shine leaves a lot to be desired. It just doesn't leave much of a shine at all. Everything I've tried from Chemical Guys has been very impressive so far but this. Maybe I'll use it on trim instead. I really like tires to be glossy, this just doesn't get there.
I tried this after watching YouTube videos explaining why a oil based would be better than the blue tire kicker. Tbh I will not buy this again, not saying it didn't black tires bur it Didn't last longer than tire kicker, the bottle it was in was terrible and badly sprayed it. Tire kicker is still the best I woukdntvwaste the money on this when CG has better products cheaper
