I've used a lot of car wash soaps over the years, but the Hydrosuds took things to another level. When they say "hyper foaming," they are not exaggerating. I loaded up my foam cannon, hit the trigger, and my truck disappeared under a mountain of thick, clingy suds. We're talking avalanche-level foam here. How much foam? Enough that two of my neighbors came over to see what was going on. One asked if something had exploded. The other just stood there recording it on his phone. Beyond the entertainment value, the soap actually performs. The foam clings to the paint and gives you plenty of dwell time to let it lift dirt and grime. After rinsing, the SiO2 leaves a slick, hydrophobic finish that beads water beautifully. My black paint looked glossy and smooth without any water spots. A little goes a long way too. I used maybe two ounces in my cannon and got coverage for days. The bottle is going to last me a while at this rate. If you want a soap that makes wash day feel like an event and leaves your car looking fantastic, this is it. Just maybe warn your neighbors first.
I loved this product. Put just a tiny bit, probably less than suggested on the label, in a bucket of water and lightly washed the car with circular motions using a microfiber sponge (8 shaped). The car looked very clean afterwards. I did have to go over the car once with the swift wipe waterless wash by chemical guys to remove hard water spots but I am pretty sure that was only because it was dark out when I washed so no sunlight to help dry where I live has very hard water. I think if I used a water filter on my hose or if it was sunny out that I wouldn't have needed to remove any water spots. The car was shining and beautiful, see images for a visual reference of how great the car looked after I washed it! My car was super filthy prior to trying the product, for the record… water spots, bird poop, dust and dirt galore. This cleaned it right up after an initial hose off and I couldn't be happier with the results!!! Smelled good, had a mirror finish, very concentrated, and it is safe for even my 2020 Range Rover's very high end paint/coating. And the photos are a day or so after the wash-still left the car looking good despite the dusty climate I live in.
Alright so I have used this using the 2-bucket method, as well as with the TORQ Foam Blaster (TFB) for standard garden hoses. In a bucket, you really do not need much to get a good soapiness. That said, I highly recommend using this stuff with foam cannons to conserve and also ensure proper application and blending. Using this stuff with the TFB, I was using the 3rd of 5 dilution settings. It went on excellent, and I did not need to add soap to a bucket. It can get just about any kind of gunk off of your paint with only a few exceptions (those exceptions were toasted by the Tar and Bug Remover, highly recommend as well). It has a wonderful scent and, when using with the bucket, did not make my hands feel like I've washed them 30 times. Packaging is good, the nozzle is good, but on initial opening, you have to remove a clear seal on the bottle and also the tin seal on the nozzle. Kind of weird but not an issue. Would love to see this stuff come in bigger containers as well, I used about a quarter of the bottle on a wash using the TFB. Leaves my car with a ceramic coat looking beautiful, hydrophobic, and spotless. I use once per week, but only because I park under nasty trees and stuff. I'm going to try a waterless wash solution to spread this time frame out more - just purchased the Swift Wipe Sprayable - I will add a review on that product when I try it.
I sprayed this on and let it set for a few minutes, rinsed it off and followed up with a microfiber wash mitt soaked in a wash bucket that contained more Hydrosuds. The results were a great clean paint surface with a bright shine. Great product that enhances a ceramic base coat.
I used Hydro Suds followed by Hydro Blitz and can't believe how slick my paint is on my 2003 Mach 1 Mustang. This stuff rocks in a foam cannon and bucket.
I use hydro suds on my ceramiccoated clients vehicles. I like the smell and how it doesn't take a lot to foam up in a 5gallon bucket. We also use it in the foam canons.
great item to keep that fabulous ceramic shine, so happy that walmart has this item
Have used their products in the past %26 find that Walmart proces are slightly lower then The Chemical Guys website
This is my second purchase, and the soap works perfect with the soap cannon. I save time and get a great shine.
Very impressed with this product.. although it's pretty expensive, I find myself using far less product than other soaps, with better results and less rinse time
