I had purchased this coating for my Challenger last year and loved the results. So as soon as I purchased my GMC Sierra, I had to make sure it was also protected from the weather here in the South. As long as you prep the surface properly, it'll do its job.

Initially I was super hesitant because of the price going back and forth with them cheap brands thinking that they'd do the same and people lemme tell you- SPEND-THE-MONEY! Not only is this product super easy to use but the shine, gloss, and sparkle you get back from your car is un-matched. Seriously car washes now take half the time and I compare how amazing my paint looks to parking spot neighbors everywhere I go. This is a must have if you love to watch rain bead off of your car and bugs wipe away effortlessly. Just do it- my SUV alone took only 1/3 and my husband's GTI took about 1/3 of the bottle.

I bought the carbon ceramic coating after watching many videos and doing some research, while it may not be as efficient as commercial grades, it does come very close to them. Very easy to apply after prepping the vehicle from washing, clay bar, polish and then ceramic coating. My 2020 Nissan Maxima looks amazing. I put two coats on and still has about 70% left in the bottle. A little bit goes a long way. You will not be disappointed if you use this.

I sure learned a lot from doing this and made some mistakes along the way. I spent about a week doing this. Right, who in their right mind would spend a week shining and protecting their cars paint. Well I am retired and Ruby is one of my hobbies, so there ya go. I used about a 9 step process that went like this; First I used Chemical Guys Stripper Wash. I foamed it on, let it set, and worked it in. Now I did not need to clay or cut the paint because I had already done so in the past. So, I started with a Cleaner Polish that is about 7 on the scale using the buffer. Then I went to Hand Polish using the buffer. Next I applied 2 coats of Chemical Guy Glaze with the buffer. Finally I applied 2 coats of Chemical Guys Professional Ceramic Coating, curing a day between coats. Next 2 coats of Chemical Guys Hydro Ceramic, curing between coats. Some mistakes I made. 1- I started polishing with the machine set on 2. I failed to turn it up to 5 once I got it working. That would have also saved a lot of time. 2- I should have started with a courser compound to begin with. I was too overly cautious and didn't need to be. Polishing I did go up to a 5 and could have gone higher. 3- I learned about priming the pads after the job was complete, dugh. 4- more angles of light. Lighting is very very important so you can see the high spots and see missed removal of compounds. 5- I used way too much product and didn't let the pad do the work. I needed to work the compounds in more and leave less behind. IMPORTANT NOTE throw away your polishing towels when done polishing off ceramic coating, because after the compound drys on the towel it could be abrasive to your paint job!!!

Overall the application was very easy to apply and buff to a mirror finish. I get compliments everywhere I go. People ask what type of wax am I'm using. Car perfection enthusiasts already know that it has to be some sort of ceramic on the car. They say my 2022 Genesis g70 doesn't come off the showroom floor with a shine that pops like yours. Trust me guys and girls you can't go wrong with this product. I normally don't leave reviews but I had too this time.

Applied this to my brand new black F-250. Application is extremely easy and a little product goes a long way! Didn't even use a 1/4 of the little bottle to do the entire truck. The finished job gave the paint a mirror like finish and the truck seems to look a lot cleaner between washes.

Very good quality vehicle ceramic coating, real, not a spray that dissolves after a couple of months. Very cost-effective.

I had never applied a ceramic coating but got this one for my new car based on the reviews. So glad I did! Cleaning was the hardest part and I was tempted to skip the clay. I did it and my car looks amazing. Ceramic was so easy to apply!

Number 1 thing you have to do is get your paint flawless I clayed my car and then applied coating and it came out amazing! I have a black 2014 Lexus and made It look like new

Let me start by saying I am an amateur with car detailing, etc. This is the second ceramic coating I have used, so my experience is very limited. That said, this was somewhat challenging to work with compared to the other product I used. It is difficult to spread and is generally 'tacky' in nature (mentioned by some of the youtube reviews as well). I tried to follow the instructions very carefully (1-2 min drying time), but buffing off the product took some elbow grease. After application, the surface did not seem smooth at all, but I assumed I needed to let it dry for a full 24 hours before I worried too much about it. After a day, the surface smoothness improved (slightly), after 2 days it was better. Now after a week has passed, the surface feels like I would expect. I have washed the vehicle and it displays great water beading and the finish does seem consistent. Overall, I was disappointed with the work it took to apply, and the delayed results I was looking for, but I am happy with the finish now that it has cured for a while.
