My car is almost 20 years old and although I like to use fully synthetic oil in it, I think for an older car is better to use a blend of synthetic and conventional oil. It helps the engine in case there are leaks so the car does not loose as much oil as it would do with a thinner synthetic oil. This is the case with a regular car, in case of high performance cars or newer cars I would go with synthetic or the oil recommended by the manufacturer. All in all a good blend for the price.

There's not much to say about oil. I'm no chemist so I can't tell you about molecular make up of the oil. What I can tell you is that it's the best weight for cars made since 2000. It's a synthetic blend so that helps the oil last longer and resist the contaminates introduced into it by the engine especially if your car is older and of higher mileage.
