This salsa is so good! We argue at home sometimes about heat levels. A lot of different brands have different interpretations of "medium". There was definitely a kick to this, but everyone was able to enjoy. It paired well with our basic tortilla chips, and added a kick to my tacos. Loved it!

We had taco night for dinner last night. The Hormel Chi-Chi's Thick and Chunky Salsa Medium was perfect. As a family of 5 we were all able to enjoy some chips and salsa as well as put the salsa right on our tacos. This Chi-Chi's Salsa will definitely be purchased again in the future. The entire family enjoyed it and the medium flavor was not too spicy but had just the right kick to it.

I use this alsa for eating with chips as well as on my recent tacos that I made. And this salsa is really good. It is really thick and chunky as the label says there's actual tomato chunks in it and it's night just watering perion the flavor is amazing in it's not too spicy it has the perfect amount of spice to it

My husband and I were having a virtual Zoom happy hour with our friends this past Friday evening, since we aren't able to get together, and we were looking for a snack. I then remembered I had some Chi-Chi's salsa, so I pulled that out and some tortilla chips, let's just say the jar is EMPTY! It was super tasty, nice and chuncky, with a little bit of heat. I absolutely love salsa and this is one of favorites and my go tos for a salsa snack.

Oh, I just loved this salsa! The consistency for me was perfect. Lots of juice, but not super thin. Just the right amount of chunkiness (true thick and chunky fans might not think it's chunky enough). I was scared of the "medium" at first, because I can't handle much spice, but this wasn't spicy at all. I ate the whole jar before I was able to take a picture! I made a cheese roll-up using a soft tortilla and added some of this salsa. Mmm! *chef's kiss* Definitely 100% recommended!

Good price for Chi-Chi's salsa. I usually buy Pace salsa but heard this was pretty good so decided to try it. I actually bought a jar of the mild version at the grocery store first and really thought it was delicious but it didn't have any heat to it, so I bought the medium from Walmart. It was a big jump in flavor from the mild to the medium. I was surprised at the level of heat. It does have a very fresh taste and nice chunks of veg in it. May go back to the mild and just add a little hot sauce so it isn't as spicy for me.

Initially my expectations for this salsa were not incredibly high, but my expectations were far exceeded. This salsa has the perfect amount of junks and spice for snacking on before a meal or while watching TV. I would be very happy to get this salsa at my table in a Mexican restaurant.

I love this salsa! Mostly it reminds me of the salsa I grew up eating in the 1980s, and that's not a bad thing... simple, good comfort food. I made nachos with it and the flavor got a bit drowned out by other flavors, but it was still quite tasty & full of tomato chunks & other goodness. Recommend for a good, affordable & nostalgic salsa.

Unfortunately, I did not love this salsa. I was hoping for more flavor since I've had Chi-Chi's salsa before and have enjoyed it in the past. I did like that it was nice and chunky, with nice tomato bites, and there was a good kick to it being only medium spice level. But it needed more flavor! My husband and I love snacking on chips and salsa, but this won't be a go-to for us in the future.
