look how compact and portable this thing is it's a bit frustrating. I think I can't really explain it when you're trying to use it. But for the most part when you get over the learning curve, it is a very good product to have at home or in your luggage when you travel.
Heated up quickly, very small and compact. I feel a lot of steamers say portable but then leak and are bulky when filled with water. This one was super lightweight and nifty. There is only one setting steam on/off so it's idiot proof. That being said, it also can be used as an iron but since the setting can't be controlled I just used it to do the edges of the shirt. I like that you don't have to hold down the button either. Because it is so portable, easy to use in any direction without leaking, I ended up burning myself a little. Completely user error and I'll know better next time but I got carried away doing the inside of the collar of the shirt! The other thing I like is that the whole bottom comes off so I can let it completely dry out before repacking it vs others that always have a little moisture inside.
Doesn't work as well as by 12 year old hand-held Conair steamer. Not much steam is produced so it takes longer to steam any item. It's an attractive and functional otherwise.
I love this travel steamer - I received a Halloween costume that was impossibly wrinkled, and this made it look like new in minutes. It's easy to set up, use, and store.
This is a really neat and compact gadget that you can take on the go and don't have to worry about having wrinkle clothes. Whether it is for travel, work, or special occasion, you never have to worry about wrinkle clothes or dress. It was easy to use but it was a bit noisy especially when you start it. It heats up really fast like 2-3 minutes. It is a bit heavier but it makes sense given the materials. I steamed half a shirt just to show how easy it was to use it. I went through it 1-2 times and all the wrinkles were gone. Amazing!
When my clothes are wrinkled I only use this steamer. The steamer is compact and has a long cord. There was no dripping or making my clothes wet. I like how you can use this like a traditional iron also. It's easy to clean and seems very durable. I use this almost everyday. Recommend
The CHI collapsible travel steamer has been a great little find! It heats up quickly and does a really nice job smoothing out wrinkles, especially on my husband's work button-down shirts. It's compact and easy to pack, which makes it perfect for travel or even just quick touch-ups at home. Overall, it works exactly as expected and is super convenient—definitely a handy item to have!
Omg I cannot wait to use this when I travel for business! My coworker literally just had a fiasco with the hotel iron and this would replace that issue! It's a little heavy so i would put it in a checked bag just in case. Seems easy to use (most of these are) so I can't wait
Very compact as compared to other travel steamers. You'll have to be careful when refilling - important to refill when it's completely empty or else you're at risk of burning yourself with the twist design. Overall a good product that I would recommend
This steamer had multiple issues. The instructions aren't very detailed or clear, so I was pretty confused on how to use it. It doesn't say how close to get to the garment. When I filled the container to the max w water and screwed it back on the steamer, most of the water came up out of it, overflowing it. So you can't lock the handle at max water level without most of it spilling out. The steam that does come out is very minimal. I couldn't even get a pic of the steam while using it cuz there wasn't much of it. It did nothing to straighten the wrinkles, as you can see from my before and after pics.
