CHI Electronic Iron Digital Display with Retractable Cord Walmart Exclusive | Model# 13105

I received this CHI Electronic Iron with Retractable Cord Model#13105 from the Walmart Spark Reviewer Program to try out and Review. This is the best Clothes Iron I have ever used! Its light weight but very well made. It is easy to reach the Steam and Spray buttons with your thumb. My clothes are now Ironed smooth and wrinkle free. The steam comes out evenly and lots of it. The Handle seems to be very comfortable to hold and apply pressure down. It just feels good in your hand. The retractable Cord works great. Just pull it out up to 8 feet and stays until you press the Retract button. I really like the retractable cord feature. Overall I say this Clothes Iron is fantastic and I recommend it to anyone that Irons their clothes to look nice. I really like this Clothes Iron. Thank you for reading this review.

I must say that this is by far the best iron Me and my Wife have ever owned. I Highly recommend for anyone looking for a new iron or even an upgrade. It Knocks out wrinkles faster than any other one that I had. It has a retractable cord that makes storing an absolute breeze. Just push the button and no more cord shortages, wrapping or plug tangles anymore. The size of the iron is a little bigger than my previous one so more section is covered and it also weighs a little more. This thing heats up in no time and has a very powerfull steam function. It has a very smooth motion glide while in use and a self cleaning button is something my previous iron did not have before. The water refill opening seems to be a little smaller to Me but not a huge issue. Also it has an auto shutoff motionless sensor that prevents you from burning your cloths or starting a careless fire, so if its laying flat, sideways or up right it turns off when not in use after a certain time. It also has five fabric tempeture settings for wool, silk, cotton, linen and synthetic that lights up when selected.

After reading some of the instructions I could not believe how high-tech an iron could be. If you leave it laying down it turns off after a minute (may be less but around there), same with in it's side, and if you leave it standing up, it will shut off after 30 minutes. That is SO cool to me! The iron heats up in about 2 minutes, and it will be solid once it's ready. This is going to sound weird... but my clothes have never smelled so good. There was no weird heating smell like my other iron makes... it smelled... SO GOOD! When I first saw this I thought why in the WORLD would an iron be so expensive. And then when I used it I became a believer. This iron is built to last and won't have water flying all over your clothes like my old iron did anytime you try to use it on steam... it works perfectly and I could not be happier. After I used it for the first time I told my husband I actually WANT to iron. He can probably count on two hands the number of times I've pulled out our ironing board. Most of our shirts don't need ironing. But I'm not kidding I don't even care, I want to use this bad boy all the time! And let's not forget about the retractable cord. Why don't all objects with cords come with a retractable cord! Game changer. No more waiting until my iron has cooled down enough to finally move it to its resting spot after I've wound the cord around it. Now I can put it back to its non-fire-hazard zone as soon as I'm done, keeping it away from little curious hands!

This is a truly wonderful iron that incorporates a lot of nifty features to make ironing a breeze. To start, the hole to fill the water is behind the swivel setting panel which is nice because it tucks the obtrusive water inlet area away. The cord is long enough to be functional in any room but the retractable feature makes it easy to clean up / put away. The titanium-infused soleplate on the bottom of the iron makes the ironing of clothes very smooth and doesn't cling on to certain materials which is a fantastic and thoughtful feature. All in all, this iron surpasses my old iron and is something that quickly takes out the wrinkles in my clothing. Instead of a physical knob to adjust settings, it's an electronic temperature control and makes the iron that much more modern and high tech. When ironing, the handles feel sturdy and robust and actually a little fun too given how smooth everything goes and feels. I highly recommend this iron! Note: the first time I used the iron, there was still some residual water spray left in it. Probably from when it was being tested / QCed in manufacturing.

This is an awesome Iron! Easy to use and has so many features! One of its amazing features is its "position sensing" capability. If it is resting on the soleplate or an either side and remains motionless for 1 minute, it will automatically shutoff. It also has a "self-clean" function that helps to clear the steam vents of any mineral buildup. Also, with 1700 watts of power and over 400 steam holes, this gets very hot and delivers a lot of heat very quickly. The retractable cord is also a great feature and makes it much easier to store. Overall, I am very impressed with this iron and highly recommend it.

This iron is pretty awesome! Retractable cord, heats up fast and works really well. I have never had such a fancy iron. It beeps when it's all heated up. One thing, make sure you wipe down the iron before use, it left a white residue that just wiped off. I highly recommend this iron.

I ordered this on sale to be used as my backup, in case my Velocity quit working. I would say it's probably slightly above average, heat/steam-wise. I didn't use it for long, but while I did, it didn't leak. The problem I had is I'm left-handed, and the positioning of the cord is definitely made for a right-hander. That's the only reason I rated it low on "ease of use." I gave it to a friend, just got fed up with fighting the cord.

This is the second CHI iron I've ordered that was delivered and have been used. The shipping box looked like it went through a war as did the box the iron was in. The plastic on the iron was torn. Taking back to Walmart and I'm done with CHI irons. Why do they keep being returned and resent to someone else.
