ChiaoGoo TWIST Red Lace Intchg Knitting Needle 5" Tip Set-Complete

I have many circular needles from Chiagoo and have been enormously pleased by them. I also have, and had, many sets of interchangeable needles from multiple manufacturers. All of them have issues with staying connected when pulling project around on the needle, the cables pull apart. Or the plastic cables have a permanent curve in them that is never in the correct position and I'm always having to push the cable around. So, after my last favorite needle cable ripped apart twice - thank goodness for gorilla glue - I decided that enough was enough and bought the complete Chiagoo kit even though the price scared me. Got them yesterday and I am going to transfer them to my newest project. The red lace cable is metal reinforced through out the length of the cable. The 5” steel tips are very smooth which is what I would expect from Chiagoo. If you are a lift time knitter, like I am, don't waste your time trying a cheaper brand. Or you will be like me, owning 4 sets of interchangeable needles that constantly pull apart and don't work with other brands. Just buy the Chiagoo. They're worth it.

This is a wonderful, complete set of needles and I should have purchased them sooner. There were some initial rough spots in the finishing of some tips, but a quick buff with sandpaper or emory board smoothed that right out. Chia Goo is worth it every time!

These needles are great for every knitting except small circles unless you magic loop and I did not try that. They are sharp, the joins are excellent, and the cables are the best cables on the market; I've tried them all. They didn't come undone when I knit which happens all the time with my other set. There is a 4" set that comes with small cables for small circular knitting. I thought at first the 5" would be too long since it is slightly longer than 5" but it works perfectly. The knitting glides easily from one needle to the other without bunching and slowing down. Another thing that happened with my other set. I highly recommend these needles. They are lightweight as well. The case is nice. Nothing can fall out and my other set fit in there so all my needles are in the same place. The only reason why I'm keeping my old set is because I can't do the small circle with this set and I can with the old one.

These are perfect! You'll never need to buy another needle and the cables are really strong yet flexible
